i am sorry but i hate that pipe so much. i have one and it slows down the excelleration so much compared to a dual chamber side exhaust. i have a wheelie bar but no way does it keep it from touching the stingers on the ground. plus they are to loud to work on the car when the car is running. i rather run my stock blue resonator. so much better. that pipe looses back pressure. i do not care what you say or how to tune it to make it better, it sucks. i am very sorry to say this but personaly that is my exsperience with the pipe.

what im talking about is when the motor already has the carb on backwards of what it needs to be on the jato.

on these cases can u simply take the carb off and turn it the right way for the jato?

I just got my new Jato, and i'm having braking issues, my first day the brake was fine, and locked up after some fine adjustments, but now it's almost completly useless, I have to adjust it consistantly. Any ideas?? Hard to drive fast with no brakes.

idk what to say i have the same problem with that. but on mine even after adjustments it wouldnt work

Buy a new tranny box (JUST THE CASE) and put it in its about 6-8 bucks

how is replacing the trans box going to fix the braking?

because there is a little metal piece that slides in the box and they probobly melted the plastic thats y its not movin

if i try to loosen them a little they wouldnt work is it normal ???
( if i put a coulpe drops pf water on them it kinda zizzzles )

Guess, I'll put my two cents in here on Jato brakes. First off buying new tranny cases after every time your brakes get hot is not a good solution. Here is what alot of people have done including me and it seems to work great. Remove the spring on the brake linkage, and replace it with fuel tubing of the same length. Next, take a bic pen and cut it the same length as the fuel tubing. Slip the fuel tubing inside the cut off bic pen piece and put it back on the brake linkage as if it were the spring. Now, pull the block out of the tranny that pushes agasinst the brake plates and clean inside the square plastic to remove any extra dirt/debris that could cause the brake to hang up. Now, tighten down the two brake caliper hex screws(the ones that hold the metal plates against the disc) evenly till they are very close to bottoming out against the disc. They should not be overtightened or they will damage the disc and the disc should spin free with no brake on. Now turn on the transmitter/car and apply full brake and adjust the brake knob till you get the tension you want. If that all isnt enough braking you can add the Newera brake disc and plates and also the alum. brake arm and bearings in the brake arm. I have great results with just the fuel tube and pen with it set up right.

mspeed thanks for the link. i havent tried it yet but the bic pen thing and the fuel tubing seems to have worked for everybody else so i think ill have the same luck.

I jumped my Jato 3.3 into the side of a trailer and snapped the Rear Shock Tower and popped the cap off one of the rear strut oil reservoirs. I replaced the oil with Team Losi 80wt Silicone Oil. The shock is noticeably more stiff than the other. I'm certain that there is no air trapped in the strut I worked on. What is the stock weight of the strut oil?

30 wt is stock lol. I think you have gone to high.

It is not a jato but i have a tmaxx 3.3 i have finished the run in process which i followed step by step, i am having trouble getting the truck to wheelie, i thought that it would do this easily. any thoughts would be much appreciated?

Start tuning it for performance, slowly. And if your new, I would recommend getting a temp gauge.
