Great to know you care and thought about me and my Connie. DC10 is at her new home in California as I write this post. I wanted a breather and a fresh mind to get back to the Connie finishing. I moved to another city and settling in well. Soon I'll get her center wing back on the table to finish it's underside, install flaps, install air lines for landing gears to operate. Re install 2 motors I took off for my Cessna Skymaster electric conversation.... Now shooting for late June or early July maiden flight.....

Road a Connie from Travis AFB to Japan in 62, boy, was sound deaf for days. The drone of those four big engines was extreme!

Today I did all 4 motors test run and after couple mins in the medium throttle run, #4 engine motor started making sticking sounds followed by racketing sounds and then it seized itself! while other 3 continued to run normally....

So now I'll have to get another motor for it, plus already got new Eflite 60A ESC's for it. Next step it to get landing gear air lines all hooked up and cycle it few times to make sure they work properly and air dosen't leak through the lines.....
