What I want is something like a BAE Hawk or a sport plane variant. I'm in agreement with you it would be easier to getthe right wing loading in an ARF.

I was at 6-6.5 lbs flying...

You are so right...RCU has been and should bethe trusted RC instructor everyone needs. It will save you embarassment, accidents, and equipement problems.

A tube bending kit costs very little money and comes in several sizes. I've used one OD for most of my airplanes/fuel tanks...
They are basically coiled spring tubes the fit around the outside...

I flew my new Revolver late last week and found the landing gear mounting area weaker than it should have been. I fixed it and reinforced it only to have it act up again on a mildly bumpy landing...
