You may have already did the following tests.

I would strongly suggest to put a WattMeter in line from the battery and the Heli. MAKE SURE THE HELI IS PROPERLY TIED DOWN!!

Move the servos...

If you put the bind plug in the BATT. slot in the receiver and tried I would then send the receiver back.

I always turn the TX first wait a few seconds and then the RX it links...

They are Digital trims on the DX 7. Yes they can be moved one click a time.

A real shot in the dark!! Are you using a switch harness in all three planes. Yeah all three can not be bad but try moving the battery to the Battery port of one of the planes and retest again turn...
