Motor has too high KV with the 4S battery and 40mm prop. Either change to a 3S Lipo, or put on a smaller (36mm to 38mm) prop if insist to run with 4S battery.

If you try to restore it, need to do it in Nitro.
Boat's hull is big and heavy, and not enough room for battery if restore in brushless electric.

BTW, the ReefRacer2 or ZZ2 or ZZ3 are all suitable as rescue boats.
Their costs are reasonable and can turn on a dime, which is import as a rescue boat,
for you need to be able to turn on a dime...

Mini Rio w/ BL setup is much better than the RR2 w/ BL setup.
RR2-BL tends to jump out of the water like flying fish.

Stock MR can only run on 2S. How many mah depending on how big and what is the dimension of your battery that you want to stuff into the hull.

He meant he lost the flex shaft due to loose connector.

Take off the trim tab on the same side you put your battery, you will see drastic improvement.
change to a smaller prop w/ 3S battery. ...

Finally found the culpit for excessive torque roll.

Took the trim tab out and problem disappear.

Took off the rudder on the starboard side don't make any difference, execpt the boat is...

The twin rudders actually are nice and fine if set up properly.

They put the twin rudders in the Rio-EP just to maintain the traditions of the Rio series which are all twin ruddes.

Same idea here, the boat is so long anyway, the trim tab in my opinion is for the show and not

Already changed from stock's 42mm 2 blade to a 32mm 3 blade. With the 3S/5000mah/35C battery laying along the left side of the boat, but still running tilting to the right and will flip if push on...
