I know of guys that use a live axle and it makes the ground handling much better. I just can't stand a long nosed Dr.1. The other cowl option does sound good though.

Apparently Eflite makes a set of Bf 109 electric retracts, for 60-120 size birds. They might work.

Does anybody have a NIB Balsacraft Spitfire kit that they would be interested in trading for a NIB Jemco Hellcat kit?

Only downside would be having to wipe all that smelly, slimy, goopy, goo off that beauty. I never have to wipe off...

When I get my kit I will just do the faux fabric covering. The originals were quite tight. As far as the flaps are concerned, I'd rather have scale appearance than scale operation. Hard to see the...
