I've found these NiMH TX packs offer enough capacity for (me) a full day's flying. At night I simply plug it into the wallwart charger and let it charge overnight and I'm ready again the next day.

I just ordered a new JR x9503 (backordered until mid-Aug). Does it come out of the box w/DSMX or will I have to ship it to HH for an upgrade? It comes with a JR R921X receiver which is DSM2/DSMX.

Where did you hear so many JR/Spektrum pilots are losing their planes? Our club flies almost exclusively on DSM2 technology. I've yet to see (or hear of) a radio failure.
