RE: WH Ultimate Build

What prop did you go with on your DA 50 / Wild Hare combo? Would a 22/10 menz be acceptable?

RE: *Modeltech Magic V1.0 Or V2.0*

Well someone's buying the V2 because they are back-ordered because of (presumably) being sold out. No comments from anyone on this plane?

RE: Objectives of a Potential AMA President

Gotta respect someone who will come on a message board and answer questions. You have to seriously wonder if the incumbent even knows what an internet message board is, much less would field...

RE: Club no longer allows 3D or freestyle?

Haha, I'd suggest the club learn to spell before making so many rules.

RE: Why does the AMA need PF'ers?

I don't have a PM from ya, just checked. But I guess part of your PM explained you don't live in Tennessee anymore. Just realized that. Shoot me an email sometime, [email protected]

RE: Why does the AMA need PF'ers?

You should care, though. Because people have chosen not to pay up. AMA's numbers are drying up, year after year, just look at the membership numbers. You either change with the times, or become...

RE: Why does the AMA need PF'ers?

I agree with you, particularly on flying something you created. Nothing wrong with that at all. And you're right on the ARF's--they were created because (most) people with families and commitments...

RE: Why does the AMA need PF'ers?

Hey guy, just telling ya what the perception is. I'm 30, to answer your question.

Look, my point is just the AMA seems grossly out of touch with younger people, say 35 and under. I mean, the...

RE: Why does the AMA need PF'ers?

I would say the AMA hasn't changed with the times and has done miserably at reaching out to younger pilots, hence the average of age of nearly 60.

The perception is the AMA is close...

RE: Why does the AMA need PF'ers?

The perception amongst the younger people is: the AMA is an old man's organization, run by old men for old men.

RE: OMP Edge 540 arf with OS 1.60

OMP Edge 540 arf with OS 1.60

I'm about to assemble the OMP Edge 540 arf, the 80 inch one. Looking at the OS 1.60 engine. What pipe should I put on this and where to get it?

RE: Club Rules and Flying by Yourself

Haha, nah, not necessarily. I'm not in favor of anyone making any new rules. Just as long as you understand the risks, and the only person you will hurt is yourself, I say do it.
