RE: P2 Glow Plugs keep going bad

What does the plug look like after it goes bad? Is it bright silver or is it a darker brown?

RE: un-dyeing rims

The only thing that MIGHT work is to get some of the RIT color stripper (I'm not sure what the actual name is).

RE: tank

I put one of these on my truck and I love it. You just have to be careful not to over prime. It makes it alot easier to start a hot engine too.

RE: Best glow plug for Nitro-Star 25 in Savage?

I've been using the RS4 power plug and have had good results so far. Any plug should work pretty good as long you use a medium-cold or a cold plug.

RE: Why won't it start?!?!?

Try to give it a little bit of throttle while starting. I do this on mine and it almost always starts within three pulls.

RE: track design

As far as the width goes I would make the lanes at leat 10ft wide. On the track that I built the lanes are 8 ft and it is too narrow for more than one truck. Don't make all of the turns too tight. ...

RE: help!!!

The clutch bell should move freely. The clutch shoes should engage the clutch bell only after the engine is running at a certian rpm.

RE: Shock rebuild frequency

A set of shock socks will help cut down on the amount of dirt that gets into the shocks and will make them last longer.

RE: I need some advice on a truck

I would have to say the Savage is the way to go. Its toughness have been proven for well over a year, also there is probably more aftermarket support than anyother RC. As far as the monster GT...

RE: K+N FILTER

The K&N filters people are putting on their RC's are not made for RC's. Some companies are just trying to make a buck and selling them as one. I read an article a while back that had a quote from...

RE: Backplate issue's

the pin that is in the crankshaft is what catches on the rod that the one way is on. Just put the spring in the hole in the crankshaft then the pin. after that put the shaft in the backplate and...

I too would keep the stock tires but ditch the foams for the tirnity three stage set.

RE: My SS wants new shoes

The spormaxx tires will hook up like nothing else on grass or loose dirt.

RE: LST..ppl...what do you think????

I think this is exactly the reason it wore out like that. One other thing to consider it the sise of the two gears. The clutch bell rotates alot more than the spur gear and therefore wears out...

RE: Carbon fiber pipe

Frost is right. The performance of the pipe has nothing to do with heat. It has to do with the angles and length. With that being said the only thing that would make a CF pipe betther than...

RE: HPI Savage temp. range?

You could cut a hole in the windshield to help keep the temps down. With my 21Bb I had to cut out the entire windshield and back window to keep the temps down.

RE: Let it warm up?

Actually this is the oppisite. turnning to the left will decrease the idle and turnnig to the right will increase the idle.

RE: Higher Nitro = Cooler Temps?

I guess I'll bite on this one.

If you tune your engine for the same performance with 20% and 30% your temps would be cooler because you will be richer with the 30% and we all know a richer...

RE: Half tank=lean!!!

You are correct that one way valve will accomplish the same thing. The only thing is that I have heard of people having problems with that setup forcing fuel into the carb after a high speed run. ...

RE: Half tank=lean!!!

That's the reason for the extra long pressure line. With a longer retrun line the pressure in the tank will be enough to keep fuel fowing to the carb but not enough the cause the fuel to be pushed...

RE: Half tank=lean!!!

The point of this mod is not to increase pressure in the tank. It just stops the pressure from escaping through the pressure line. In a tank without this mod the pressure can easily escape through...

I would do what 8000ft said then use a pair of pliers on the "L" shaped part the the allen wrench to give you more leverage. Make sure that when you put the head back on you tighten them is a criss...

RE: if i get the SS

If I'm not mistaken the newer SS kits will have the updated 25 rtr tank and the three shoe set-up. You might want to wait and see when you get the kit before you order the tank and clutch kit.
