In my humble opinion, I would opt for either a Slow Stick or a Tiger Moth, I own both, the Tiger Moth is a very slow flyer and is very nimble and quick to respond to the sticks, It doesn't need much...

Probond works good, I am partial to epoxy and use it for most of my gluing chores, Foam friendly CA works good to hold parts or for spot gluing if you use a kicker with it, I also use GWS glue...

The Bristol scout is out, the LHS has one on the shelf, I think I'll pick it up, the picture on the box shows that it has dehidral built in the wing.

tweeking the flight of the slow stick (need help)

Check the CG, if the plane is a bit tail heavy it will want to climb, it is better to be a little nose heavy.
The CG being off will also cause stalls and in some cases porpusing ( climbing steeply...

6* dihedral Sig Jenny

Let us know how it works out, the question of dehidral on the Jenny wings has been debated alot lately, and your experiment may prove to be the answer to that question.

Thanks for sharing,

Yard Stik by Great Planes Yard Stik

BuzzBomber,

Your right, I was rash to judge the YardStick before getting to see one up close, all I've seen is a picture and assumed it was a complete knock off and that was wrong of me, I am...

Yard Stik by Great Planes Yard Stik

Foxtrot,

You don't need back up, you need a new SlowStick.
GWS did the R&D on the SS and they deserve your business more than GP does for trying to knock off somebody elses hard work, if GP...

One of the easiest ways to get started is to build a stick type plane, cost is about eight dollars for the plane inc. landing gear and other hardware.
Use a GWS 100-C 3.22 geared motor W/GWS#9070...

Slow Stick Parts

Patrick,

Easyest way out is to by a new motor/gearbox for about $15.00, or get yourself a complete set of new parts by spending $32.00 for another SS kit and using it as a parts kit, the plane...
