Just 1, The original 8FG was upgraded to the 8FGS which is a 14 channel radio (12 proportional and 2 switched) It is really a nice radio and you can still use your R617FS receivers with this...

I understand , but I just Simply stated that Futaba had previous history with 2.4 because of the Industrial RC side of things. 15 years prior to their release of 2.4 for the hobby side of it.

Just stick with what you know, Futaba has been In the 2.4GHz business 15 years before it came to the RC world.

After reading this thread I didn't see any mention of the no vibration, that is what the jar of water was sitting on the stand for. that in itself too me is pretty amazing compared to the gas engines...

Actually just bought the 8FG today got $90 off of it on tower plus a $90 free receiver, Could'nt pass that up.
