RE: Flux 5T conversion

I am bidding on bulletproof diffs. The rear diffs have no problems so far even when it takes on all the power. I had the front diffs disassembled before and that may be the factor. I am looking...

RE: Flux 5T conversion

I like it even since I have rear drive for now. I ran it today and lost a steering servo. So now I need a new front diff and a stronger servo. I did manage to run it for 22 minutes (sorry no video)...

RE: Flux 5T conversion

I put my battery in the cockpit between the plates. The battery sits on top of the battery holder that is zip tied to the plates.

RE: Flux 5T conversion

Do not get 15/45 because it would not fit (my mistake). I looked at the manual.

RE: Flux 5T conversion

I ran it today for about seven minutes in an open field. It was on 6s WOT for the first time and it rips! I am still spitting mud out of my mouth. I had my Venom camera to record but it was not...

RE: Flux 5T conversion

I got one last week. I also found a set of (nitro) Savage 5t 24mm hex hubs. Those things are not easy to get but I finally found some last week from EBAY Australia . The pins that fit in the hubs...

RE: XTM X-Crawler

I got mine about 3 weeks ago through of course hobby people. I have made some adjustments to increase performance. I had problems with the screws that are at the center of the chassis because they...

RE: Finally, Kyosho Inferno GT or Ofna Ultra GTP?

I am sold on the Ofna .28. It is durable IMO more than the Inferno. It has a proven LX chassis not to say that the Kyosho is not but I have spent money to fix the Inferno but none for the Ofna. I...

RE: Finally, Kyosho Inferno GT or Ofna Ultra GTP?

Sorry so late but just to comment. I have had both vehicles and I can honestly say that the Ofna is tougher. I lost reception in my Ofna once and hit a curb at about 35 mph and hit a curb with the...

RE: Has Any Body Tried The Recomended Upgraded Motor For Recoil?

I don't want to explore brushless with this car at all. I just unloaded a crap load of brushless because it got horribly expensive. I am exploring a less expensive way actually the normal way,(...

RE: Has Any Body Tried The Recomended Upgraded Motor For Recoil?

I just got a Recoil and I put a 7 cell pack in it with the stock motor. I had no issues after running four times on 7 cells (LRP vtec battery). The stock esc can handle it but I removed it and put...

RE: Anyone from HPI ??? on the wheelie king

I got the truck today and I got to say that it does not look worth it. I sent it back today. That thing is soooooo small. It does look extremely fragile. Unless you are looking for something...

RE: Truggy shopping - advice needed.

I have put some thought to it because I was really pleased with the Axial .28 in its debut. I sort of miss having a monster truck. I am considering the CEN GST or back to the monster gt. I had a...

RE: Kyosho FW-05T - how good is it ?

The FW-05T was a good car for me. I bought one when they first came out and it was $240.00 now they are more. I was impressed with the smoothness of the model. The shifting was seamless and the top...

RE: Kyosho Inferno Gt = Is It Really Good For Such A High Price?

The price is not high to me, I had one and it was an absolute beast at running. I had a buddy with a OFNA ultra GTP with a .28 peak diablo and I roasted that car with mine. He also had the 2-speed...

RE: Truggy shopping - advice needed.

I had the Mutilator and I replaced three knuckles in a 2 month period. I bashed it on a ballpark and a grassy area with good mounds to jump and the thing ran reliable. Good first impression. On...

RE: Anyone from HPI ??? on the wheelie king

I will be receiving one on 17 Jan 07 and will let you know that day! Then I will put a Reedy Ti 10x2 in it and probably kill the diff the same day too.

That's right 12mm. The new rims I bought have not arrived yet but they are HPI Spikes. They look cool on the pics.

RE: Cen Mini Madness thread

Here's a body idea. Mini Cooper! I saw an article in Jan 2006 issue of RC Car Action about the PTI Goliath and it was modde with a Mini Cooper body. I bought the body for the Madness and what do...
