For what it's worth.......I'm using Evolution 46's, Graupner 10-7 3 blades, 15% nitro and I'm airborne in about 125 feet flying off of pavement.

I use velcro strips about 1/2 inch wide. You can find them in Home Depot or Lowes. Wrap it around the wooden frame and the nacelle still fits. Holds the tank in place and makes maintenance real easy.

If it flies or floats I use 2.4 with no problems at all. I heard that you shouldn't use 2.4 in a submarine, that will have signal problems when submerged.

I used to live in Milford, just south of the Wal-mart on 209. I don't miss going over the mountain on 84 east in the wintertime. Haven't seen snow in 6 years and I don't miss it. I feel for you.........
