I don't see any reason why not, I mean if the threads are the same size, it should be the same thing as just feeding tubing through. Just gotta make sure its nice and sealed though.

It wouldn't over rev if your idle screw was set correctly and your throttle servo was not wide open, I doubt they would warranty it for user error, unless the carb slide got stuck and it was a design...
