i ran my truck once with the plastic spur gear.
2nd run..i already had the steel one installed...its worth it.

thts one of the 1st things to do..upgrade to a steel gear to avoid stripping

Engine trouble

How hard is it to get a new engine from redcat?

two weeks ago,i started seeing metal shavings coming from the glow plug hole.
this made the car shut off randomly and the pull start was stopped...

i followed what the rc veterans told me.
have u messed with the idle speed needle on the carb? if you did,,try to put it back to where it was if possible.
another thing is the LSN or low speed...

fixed it,the servo wasn't at center when i installed it.

i realized i had the channels crossed.<div>throttle and brakes work...but no steering, its stuck all the way to the left now..</div>

how do i deal with a rounded hex screw?
got 3 of 4 engine mount screws from the underside out..the last one got rounded.

any tips?

day 2 went pretty well..

only one issue,i realized fuel coming from the glow plug hole while the car was running.

any idea what would cause that?

finally drove the truck for a good two hours..ran nicely untill i smacked it into a curb lol
left front dogbone came out the drive cup..and the screw on the bottom of the hub came out..fixed it on...
