I've taken the Caldera XB out to the track and it does about as well as a traxxas (which isn't saying much). The Caldera would do better with lighter weight shock oil. What comes in it is good for...

I am suprised you didn't cook the 35A ESC that comes stock on it. What temp did it reach?

On the other hand, The only 3S lipo packs I've seen that would fit in the limited space of the caldera...
