RE: what rc plane?

Look for them on like RCU Marketplace but see if you can arrange for people local to pick it up rather than shipping it. Saves you money and you can also take a look at it before you purchase it.

RE: GWS Slow Stick

On mine I have it 5 inches. So from the end of the gearbox (the part that is actually on the center bar) to the start of the wing mount is 5 inches.

RE: need advice with aileron Y

The type Ken posted second, the one where you use 1 servo and torque rods, is good enough for park flyers or smaller aircraft, but for 60 size you definately want to go with 2 servos. Would you...

RE: A New, but Wrecked Plane

1st and 2nd planes

I know I'll get a lot of different answers on this, but in reality what makes a plane a 1st aileron plane and what makes one a 2nd aileron plane? For example what makes a Parkflyers BeginAir a 1st...

RE: Newbie 2 Lipoly Batteries - Dumb Question

The pack is rated for 12A burst, so I'm not too sure what that means actually. On Thunder Power's site it shows it but doesn't really give any other info about it.

RE: Newbie 2 Lipoly Batteries - Dumb Question

Essentially 3S2P means 3 cells in series and 2 in parallel, which means there are 6 cells total in the pack. The S stands for Series and P stands for Parallel. So a 2S1P means 2 cells in Series and 1...

Yak 54

Wondering if anyone has seen an electric version other than the one by Eflite or the shock flyer. Preferably an ARF version since I already have my radio equipment and stuff.

RE: Pz Decath to 3D

Heh, this is an old post

I ended up getting a slow stick and am loving that, the motor I have on it has tons more power than I really need. My only problem is wind and cheapy gear shafts, but I...

RE: Godspeed, Discovery

They also prepped in case something like this would happen and they brought items along to repair such things, so if something is damaged they might be able to repair it.

Plus they said if there...

RE: slow stick gear box

That's what I was hoping that it has a hardened shaft. Breaking a prop every now and again I can live with, bending the shaft often is different.

RE: slow stick gear box

I seem to be going through gear shafts rather frequently. Just today I was flying and I accidently angled her into the ground. Was at maybe 1/4th throttle since I was going into the wind. I broke the...

Old retired Jets in Orange County

I heard from a friend that there was a place in Orange County, CA where there are some retired jets, such as F/A-18 or 14's, where you could be a copilot in one. Anyone know of such a thing or heard...

RE: Pz cub recovered from tree monster - complete destruction -pics-

I would definately doublecheck the radio gear once everything is cleaned off.

RE: Slow Stick Gearbox

ya, I saw that.

And I did end up just buying a whole new gearbox, works like a charm and is actually quieter. Seems the bearings on the old one weren't in too good of shape.

RE: slow stick gear box

Judging from the description it's for 370 only. The only difference between the 2 is that one uses the prop adapter to use with APC props and the other you can use with GWS props.

RE: Maiden Flight with SS

You'll have fun with it, just be wary of the winds. Last flight I had I decided to fly it in some decent winds (about 10 mph) and a gust blew it into a tree which resulted in the gear being stripped...

RE: PZ Super Decathlon Venom Motor Install

If you have access to one, get a C clamp. I used a small C clamp and it worked perfectly. To push the pinion further down on the shaft I would just put a nut on top of the pinion so the shaft just...

RE: Slow Stick Gearbox

I managed to get the thing disassembled and the inside of the spur gear is completely stripped. So needless to say I will be getting a couple of the gears tomorrow. I bent the shaft back into a...

Slow Stick Gearbox

I've flown the Slow Stick for less than 10 flights, my last flight I unfortunately flew it in too much wind and needless to say it decided to take residence up in a tree. When I got her down there...

RE: Thunder Power Charger

Ok, a bit paranoid here so I'd figure I would ask.

I have a 12V 1.5A charger with the right connection for the charger. I have 2 LiPos, one's a 7.4V 1500mAh Kokam and the other is a 7.4V 1900mAh...

Thunder Power Charger

The one I am looking at specifically is this one: http://www.ehobbies.com/thp425.html

It needs a 12V power supply, rather than trying and experimenting will any 12V power supply work?

Also...
