Thanks Ian, I was thinking along those lines as well. A 30 with throttle management would probably do the trick.

Once I used a single, signal line from controller to receiver I got no response from the retracts at all....kinda hard to figure out since controller and receiver are powered separately.

I did try to the ring on a lead to one of the flaps - no help...also tried it on the lead from the controller to the receiver - no help. And the ring was 1-2 inches from the receiver. I'm using a JR...

Well, I checked out the line in the tank today and it's fine...took it outside, richened low needle about a quarter of a turn, WOT, rolled it over, runs like a champ. Who knows why?
