You are correct, I was referring to manufacturing a hard point and not say... a repair patch. I like the West Systems, use it to make all of my parts as needed.

I have never found this to be true. Epoxy will set up on polyester resin parts alright, but if they have any kind of force or leverage, they cleanly pop right off. A good example are brackets...
