G-FORCE MOTORS -from Value Hobby
I very recently noticed a range of motors called "G-Force", sold by Value Hobby. These came up because the G-Force "G25" motor was mentioned as the suggested motor for a pretty-looking 30-size F3A plane called the "Oasis F3a" -

The range of G-Force blue coloured motors is shown here:
http://www.valuehobby.com/power-syst...-airplane.html
They range from a small 2204 motor (22g, Kv 1650; 28mm diam; stator size 2204) -up to a largish "G60" motor (360g, Kv 400; 5065 on external dimension -i.e. 50mm diam, 65mm long; likely to have ~4030 / 4035 stator).
The smaller motors are named with respect to stator size and then brushed motor equivalent (e.g. 400, 480). Motors of 100g and above are named with respect to approximate IC power level -e.g. G10, G46 etc.
Question is:
Which factory makes G-Force these motors ...? Short answer is -I do not know. Any ideas out there ..?
Let us take the G25 motor as an example -They state it is a "3548" motor (on external dimension) -it has specs 160g, D~35 L~48, is avalable with Kv's of 850 and 1100. Prob has ~2826 / ~3025 stator. They state it is a
"Good replacement for E-flite power-25". The pics below show the front and rear housings.
a. First, is it a motor made by the XYH-EMP factory ? -
http://en.xingyaohua.com/html/play/427.html (XYH "N-type" motors)
-XYH list 3548 motors, with weight 171g, and Kv's 790, 900, 1100. So the Kv of 1100 and weight about matches up. The G25 Kv of 850 does not.
However, it is clear that XYH also make a ~3548 size motor with a Kv of 850, because there is a "Turnigy 3648 850kv" motor, and this will be made by XYH-
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...or_1450kv.html -It is quoted by HKing with weights varying from 131g to 181g ...
-So: Maybe the G25 motor
is made by XYH, with just the front and rear housings changed to a different cosmetic shape ...?
b. If we look at the XYH "C-type" motors -
http://en.xingyaohua.com/html/play/409.html -then their rear housing has a little similaritywith the rear of the G25 ?(see pics) -so again, maybe the G25 is an XYH motor ...?
c. Also, some "Mystery" motors have been advertised with front housing that looks similarwithG25 motor (see pic) -and Mystery motors are usually made by XYH.
d. Front housing of G25 has some similarity to Topband motor (pic 6 below) -so maybe Topband is manufacturer ? -
http://www.topbandmotor.com/en/chi/a...=161&comid=113
e. Certianly, G25 is not same as the E-Flite Power 25 motor -the E-Flitehas weight of 190g, although has Kv 870, and D35 L54
f. Is it an EMax motor ? -There isan Emax BL 2826-this has specs 182g, Kv 850, D40 L48 -
http://www.emaxmodel.com/views.asp?hw_id=114-So Kv is same, but Emax motor has diam of 40mm, and does not look anything like G25.AlsoEmax motor accessories look different to G25. So does not appear to be an Emax motor.
g. Also does not appear to be a Suppo;Saite;or a KMS / KBM -type motor ...
So: As I said at the start
-It is not clear (at least to me) who makes these G-Force motors.
Maybe it
IS the XYH factory -and just front and rear housings of G-Force motors are changed from the standard XYH style ...?
What do you think ...? Any ideas out there, for who might make theseG-Force motors?
