Hi all,
I have a Jeti 08-3p controller with a 3cell 720mAh lipo pack..
I was out flying the other day and the esc let the lipo down past 9volts. I am assuming that the esc's LVC is set to two cells how do i set this for 3 cells??Set it without the program card referably?
Also, i was thinking about getting the program card for it and is the high setting for LVC 3 cells and the low setting for 2 cells?
Thanks in advance,
Hakko

If the ESC isn't one of the new models, the programming card will be of no use. What setting are available on the older ESCs are programmed through the throttle on the transmitter, I believe.
The programming sequence should be described in the documentation, which does you absolutely no good if you lost/never had the documentation to begin with... I'll try to remember to look when I get home.

This is the esc I Have

I think its fairly new and the manual only seems to tell me about setting the brake and timing..
I dont have the manual with me now but I am nearly sure it says autodetect for number of cells.
When I am flying it blips the motor on/off on/off on/off etc to signify LVC is this all it will do and i should land when this happens or should it actually cut the signal to the motor?
I think I will just fly the way it is and land the moment it blips the throttle..
I will e-mail jeti to check compat with my ESC..

The controller that you have will not eork with the Jeti Programming card. The stutter you are hearing is the controller telling you its time to land. A three cell Lipo pack can be taken down to 2.5v per cell (7.5v) so dont be alarmed if your three cell pack goes below 9v. The Jeti 08 3p auto detects the cell count of your pack by measuring the voltage of the pack. It is important that you only fly fully charged packs, if you connect a 3 cell lipo that is not fully charged (say 10v) The controller may detect it as an 8 cell nicd and then it might over discharge your Lipo, Hope this make sense!
