Started the build yesterday! Deffinetley dont like the cabon rod parts. Their a pain to keep in one place[>:]
What is the problem? Are you talking about the rods on the wings? I put glue on mine and taped them with masking tape and let them dry.

I flew mine again yesterday in some pretty good wind and it is a blast. Flatspins were great (rudder and elevator only), I did a torque roll that was awesome, blenders, tumbles, lots of harriers, it was too windy to hover, snap rolls, etc. This plane does a lot. Mine is nearly a year old and has a lot of glue on it. I might just have to get another one.

ESC plugs into the throttle channel, channel 3. If you've got a radio with flaperon mixing, plug one aileron into channel 2, and one into 6 to save the weight of a Y-harness.

I also am wondering if I got the right flight pack. The battery included is a 9.6v aaa pack. It seems heavy is it alright to have it.

Yup, you messed up. You need a 3S lipo, about 640 mAh.

What servos, receiver, ESC, and motor have you got?

The battery channel in the Rx is only for gassers so the servos and such still have power. You need an ESC and lipo plugged into channel 3 to get the motor to respond.

There's definitely a nack needed to glueing this plane together no doubt, lots of tape and kicker will get you through it. After you build one their really not to bad though.

I know what you mean about the glue, with 105 flights on it... She's pretty beat up now for sure! I need to weight it, I bet I added another ounce of weight in RE-glueing alone

check out this vid from this morning. I was practicing lowering my waterfalls. Let me know what you think?

Nice flying there SuperKaos. What is your setup? Prop, motor, battery, controller? Do you know how much it weighs?

I had a setup similar to yours on my first foamy (Eflite Tribute). It lacked power and the motor wore out quickly. Also the plane took a pretty good beating because of the lack of power. I threw away the brushed motor, controller and nimh pack and went brushless and lipo. It just wasn't any fun to fly until I upgraded. The flights were also very short.

I don't know anything about the reflection motor and nimh setup, but would assume it to be similar to my tribute.

Thanks Aerobat, upon completion of the build it weighed in at 13 oz. RTF. But since then I've been piling on the glue As far as the set up I am using the Rimfire with an Electrifly SS 12 amp controller powered with a TP 1320 3 cell

Right now, Tower has the Reflection on sale for 25. I am thinking of getting a new one and the Rimfire. What prop do you like with it?

I use the APC 9x3.8, and it's ballistic!!! Good flight times too, 10 min. on a 620.

I noticed Hobby Lobby has their ESSKAY OUTRUNNER MOTOR 400XT on sale for $17. Does anyone know about this motor. I think it should work out well on the reflection.

Are the servos and stuff working? And do you have the motor wired right? And do you have it plugged in the right way?

Everything else works right. The moter runs because it will work on auxilery channels.

Are you flying JR or Futaba? Different channels for different radios. CH3 is the throttle channel on Futaba radios. If your flying JR, I think throttle goes on ch1 not positive though....

Still not getting anything. The whole system is set up as above. I tried reversing the throttle channel and it didnt do anything. Any one who figures this out will be thanked greatly.

The only thing I can think of is for you to post pics of the set-up in the plane, and we can take a look at it. Something's either not hooked up right, or youve got something programmed in the radio incorrectly.
