Lets See Your 3Dfoamy!
I just finished my 3dFoamy Edge 540 and absolutely LOVE it! Its by far the best foamy ive built so far to date. How many other people fly this plane or similar? Talk about mods, flight reports, or just chat about 3d foamies in general. I LOVE THIS PLANE! Its my first attempt at painting foam, and im wondering what kind of tape to use so the paint does not bleed throught and also easy enough to get off w/o peeling the paint off.

E Flite Extra 260 profile.
300 motor,18 amp 640 mha
It flies ok,very stable in Harrier and inverted,KE is a bit wobbly.Great beater

Charger RC CR-1 Foamy
Himaxx HC 2812-1080 motor, CC Phoenix 25, TP 3cell 2100 mah, Electrifly 3 cell, 640 mah batteries, HS-55 servos, Cirrus MRX-6 reviever. Hover is pretty good, but not the best. Snap rolls=easy, harriers= simple.

Here's my Clik XL 52" wingspan. Scaled it up from the Clik F3P kit. Does 3D and pattern. Lots of fun! Also did a 28" version for my friend to test out his MicroDan F3P motor. No wing rock during elevators or harriers(inverted and upright). Also working on a full fuse version with airfoiled wing.

what kind of tape does everyone use for masking on thier foamies? idk what do use so the paint doesnt peel off with the foam...

Great Planes Flatout Turmoil. I love the SFG's. They make knife edge very sensitive. Rimfire 22M, 9x4.7 GWS, TP 730 Mah, Hitec 05S and HS-55's.

I am new on the internet just hooked up a web cam will send you a picture of my Edge 540 foamy
as soon as I learn how to. Like the looks of your Tourmoil. I started out witlh a Minimax 5yrs ago,
went thru several parkflyers,E-Flite Ultimate.2 Tensors.1 Tribute.am working on a scratch built Eclispe.
Have been flying a Fliton Prodigy, great flyer does whatever you ask it, it was given to me already
built .I put an alinge 450 outrunner apc 10x3.8,4.,hitec 55 servos ,thunderbird 36 esc common sense
2100 3s lipo. on it. On the 3rd flite the right wing folded just after takeoff when I do my signature roll
out. Oh well it is repairable.will be back in the air soon!! PS I fly almost everyday have lots of planes.

Does anyone know if 3DFoamy is still in business? They took my PayPal order, took the money, never shipped the items ordered, and don't respond to multiple emails. Are they still in business?
