1 - up elevator + ailerons stay neutral
2 - up elevator + up ailerons for parachute
3 - up elevator + down ailerons for tight loops etc
Is it possible to program a zap to give you all these functions on the same model and be able to choose which you want with a flick of a switch.
At the moment I've got 1 and 3 but wanted 2 as well
If this is possible PLEASE HELP!!

With a Zap you have flight conditions. Set up a new one based on point 3, but with the movement of the ailerons reversed to get point two.
Plenty of 3 positions switches so you can flick between them.
(just got a 9Z, so been reading the instructions for the last few days)

Ahhh that sounds like the solution. Cheers
I've got it simply using port 1 and 6 on the receiver and using e-f mix function at the moment.
I guess they stay plugged in the same?? Do I need to Inhibit that function or is that still part of it.
This is actually quite frusrtating now cause I want to get home and try and sort it and it's only 10.30 am

Still new to the system, but I would have thought that you still use the E - F mix, but reset the percentages so that they are plus instead of minus (or vice versa).
Then play around with the values to get the trow you need.
I know the feeling - stuck in an office when it is sunny outside and using RCU is the only way to get releif from the Itchy Finger Syndrome

I've got the 9c programmed for exactly what you are describing on a three position switch. I get the spoilerons by using a 5 point mix (Mix - 6 on 9c). Elevator = Master, Flap = Slave with Link ON. Then I setup the flaperon function to get flaps to drop with up elevator. However, I cannot get the flaps or spoilerons to "snap" into a set position and stay there at a given elevator threshold. I know the 9z can do, but I don't know what the mix is called.

You need to use the offset function.
This sets the offset of the servo. You then use the elevator as the switch. Trouble is, I think it would be on all the time when ever you use the elevator!
Only way I can think of geting around that is to set up another mix to mirror the first mix, but have that swichable.

Hey Greg,
As you know I have the Zap WCII as well. Am sitting at work so this is from memory.
Keep the ailerons plugged channels in 1 and 6, activate the E>F mix and assign the "ON" position to the centre position of a 3 way switch. The bottom position is E>F mix off i.e. your 1st point and now the centre is E>F on i.e your 3rd point.
Next set up a "flight condition" that uses the E>F mix with the +/- setting opposite to your std elvator to flap mix so the ailerons go up with up elevator. Assign this condition to the top position of the 3 way switch and voila, the three settings on the one switch.
See you up the field soon?!
Regards,
Mark

Right,
I tried to set up a flight condition but simply can't do it. I must be doing something wrong but can't work out what.
No matter what I do when I set the condition swith and then switch it all that happens is that all surfaces move out of line plus I lose one aileron altogether.
Can you please describe how to set this in simple terms.
Do you set up the model how you want then set the condition
This is doing my head in cause I hate not being able to work out things like this so pleeeeeeeese help

Vease,
Just got meself a WC2 as well. I too had problems programming it to the point I almost through the thing across the flying field.
Finally got to grips with it after getting me mate to show me what to do.
You want to set up everything on 1 condition to start with, all your mixes, subtrims, blah blah blah. Then copy the condition you've just set up and go into that one and modify it, ie: reduce control throws, change mixes, etc, etc!!!
Its alot easier to modify a copied condition than it is to create an identical from scratch.
The thing I've noticed with the ZAP is that theres about eleventy million different ways to do one thing!!
If your going to the Nats display thing this weekend come giz a shout and I'll try and sort you out!!
Phil
