I'm sorry to hear the troubles continue. It's sad when things come to that. I hope it works out ot the advantage of all.

We have the first prototype of a 107" Yak for 100cc engines. Should be ready to fly in a week or so. I'll post some photos and a flight report soon. Hope to have it flying by the time Wayne comes down.
Awesome.

There will be Lots of pics and videos taken during my trip to Atlanta.
Stay tuned!

Layne,

This is not an official anything.
I am in Atlanta Nov 3rd - 6th for training with my job. I get done each day at noon.
My plans are to be flying each of those days after that if everyone is up for it.
Chris, Kevin, Pugs?

You should try and make one day if you can and check these planes out.

Count on it Wayne. I'm definitely up for it. Hopefully Kevin will have some time off from Delta and be able to join us. Pugs says his schedule is pretty flexible as well. If anyone else cares to join us, just shoot me an email and I'll give you directions to the field.

Chris,
Hope to see you soon at the new GMA. I hear it rocks. Were you there when they borrowed my sod roller? How did that old rusty thing work out!!!????
Anyhow, I'm still waiting patiently for the 87" Yak. Or should I say, my lonely DA50 is waiting!
I think we'll be up at the new GMA this Sat Oct 25th. Maybe we'll see you there.

Man,

What a great time. The Yak, both the 68 and 87 are awesome planes. Chris did this one thing he calls the "Heartattack". Man-o-man. Flying along about 50 feet in the air, about 1/2 throttle, then WHAM! Full down into a harrier parachute thingy. Wow.

This plane, the 68", just locks into a harrier. Really sweet. It flies just like it's big brother.

Some shots:

Good fun was had by all.

Wayne, you are going to have a blast while you are here. GMA has several great 3D pilots. A couple are pictured above. Lee, the guy smiling, owns the Cap. He has only been flying for 3 years, and man-o-man can he fly that Cap. Made me miss mine already. Jay, guy on the phone with DA I think, is a great pilot as well. I am sure you guys will get along. Chris did not allow me to take a picture of his girly figure. He is just too shy......

Great planes, great pilots, and great flying....what a day....

He does the "Heartattack" from upright or inverted? If it starts from 50 feet and upright, to full down and a 1/2 waterfall... I'd rename it the "stain your shorts".

I have no doubt that its an eye opener. The first time I watched Chris fly I stood there with my mouth open.
Especially, watching the 28% Yak do a blender with the blips of throttle on the way down.

Now, if some factory would please get the 65 inch Extra right, I'd be happy.

I hope I don't have to settle for a Kangke Cap for Christmas.

Chris, my YS 91 FZ is waiting...

I agree Chris is a good pilot. When they announced that the president of the company would be flying the demo a few people kinda murmured like it would be a boring flight. Several oooohhhs and ahhhhsss later they were murmuring a different tune.

Tail....

Let's put it this way....

I just about filled my shorts when he did it.....and he told me it was coming!

Too cool....Lee walked up and said "You don't normally scare me, but that one got me!"

For those of you who hoped the Aeroworks 90 Edge was going to be a great plane....wait until you get your hands on this Yak. 68", with a YS 110 and it is under 9 lbs......this thing flies awesome.....

They should be here in December. I have 1 on order and may get two....

What are the time and price schedules for the 107" Yaks? Are they going to be ARF or ARC. I may have to wait on the H-9 Suk
