The canopy you see here is exactly how it will come out of the box. No cutting or fitting needed.
The third pic shows you the side foam pice that is there for the roundness of the fuse.

Prototype 35% Yak.
DA-100.
This was while it was being assembled. I was out of memory in my camera after this pic but Karl will get me the pics he took with his camera in a day or so.

Too bad all of these Yaks have the same scheme on them. I am already tired of looking at them from just browsing RCU. Do these come in solid white?

Eric,
From what I understand the Yaks will come in this scheme, all white or RTC.
I do not know if those options will be available right away but at some point they will be.
Maybe Chris can chime in here.
Jason,
I am not sure if that motor will fit or not. The key to this thing flying as well as it does it to KEEP IT LIGHT with your motor choices.
Pugs,
Yeah we flew yesterday. ( in the rain )
Chris, me, Russ and Jay flew the prototype 35% Yak. It was amazing!
Videos to come!
We also all took turns with the Mini3D. We had to stand under Chris's hatchback to stay out of the rain.
Lots of low, close in 3D. That thing is so much fun to fly!

I love how the cap strips are dovetailed into the top sheeting on the Profile Extra! Very nice work in design and assembly!
I like the scheme on the Yaks...just not the wing bottoms. The multi color bars on the bottom are too...festive for me. I'll get the RTC and put Quique's TOC scheme on it!

Its the next plane in line for delivery.
Same basic dimensions as most of the .40 sized profiles out now.
Its the first Edge profile ARF I can think of.
Saito .72, YS .63, OS .50 etc etc..

Wayne and/or Chris.
Not meaning to be cynical or anything
But, who designed (I believe Chris) & built these models (the prototypes)...
Will the production models be the same as the prototypes in terms of construction etc. (I know about your strict quality control standards). How about the quality of Balsa used etc.
Any time soon that the planes will be demo'ed in the PA/NJ area ?
PS: This is meant to be a compliment. The planes look totally awesome in picture.
