Hi guys,
I'm 29, flying 9.
I love 3D and slope soaring, so, slow on engine and fast and faster whitout!!!!
I'm writing from Italy, as someone knows.
I HATE also people flying around in circle and telling everybody is the only way to fly!! Overall people who's saying that on slope it's impossible to fly whitout 150 mph wind.......and never tried to......sigh!!!
Cheers.
Andrea

37, flying for 6 months on RC. Flew real planes before.
I always wanted to get into this hobby and have just never had the money. I'm from South Africa originally and it's a lot more expensive there than what it is here.
I have been here for 5 years and finally started flying in October last year. Solo'd at the end of November and have been crashing ever since. I have 4 planes and a heli and all of them are in various states of disrepair at the moment.
The story of my life is that I fly on Saturday and Sunday and spend the rest of the week fixing planes to have them ready for the next weekend!!!
Now that spring is finally here in the North East I hope to get out a lot more often.

Well, I am 41 will be 42 in November. I have been flying this time for 3 years. I tried doing RC in the 80's but didn't get help. I just went to to open fields and such with a co-worker that pointed me into the direction of Dougs Hobby shop. Crashed a couple of planes and got really frustrated.
Started again 3 years ago and joined a club, got help and haven't looked back. Darn I wish I had those 15 years of flying back
and the Sig Kadet Mk II.

I am 68. I re-started flying about a year ago after about a 30 year gap. I flew for a few years back in the late 60's and early 70's. Only fly electrics now,

started learning to fly both fixed wing and helis about 13/14 yrs ago. but the extent of that venture was a single botched landing that took the gear off my trainer airplanes. then my dad had a boomstriike when he ran out of fuel trying to hover and chopped the throttle.
started flying sims last year sometime then went out to the field(with the same two craft, which got fixed by the way) i had a local club member get thetrainer airborn for a couple of flights. then he suggested that i try to solo. "you sure you havent done this b4?" I told Bob he was just a good teacher.
got a new heli and did pretty well setting it up myself since i couldnt find help. but not well enough since Ive crashed a bunch due to overheated engine. I wish sims could teach engine tuning. i fly better than i set up but im mad at helis so im not fixing it for a while.
anyways Im currently trying to teach myself to fly 3D planes with a U CAN DO .46.
OH YEAH[sm=idea.gif] I'm 26
