Default RE: Real Flight or Aerofly Pro?

I have access to both and practised alot on Realflight. It definitely has some perks here and there as I found that the heli bit is a bit better and much easier to use on realflight. BUT Realflight can't simulate 3d at all. I teach myself to fly 3D cause no one else here is doing it and RF didn't help me jack. I bought Afp this weekend and I gotta admit that if you download the right planes for it it's as true as it gets. If you can hover an OMP profile DOD in AFP i'll gladly shove my radio in your hands to hover my fun fly around a bit.

Just my 2cents.

Here is some 3D from Aerofly Pro to help you decide Not sure of the pilot, but not bad

[&:]The video is very nice, the manoeuvers are very well done, but here it's the problem: has the pilot had the same difficulty to do the manoeuvers with AFP or AFP is easier, much easier or what?

I don't thinks its wise to judge a sim realism by difficulty, FMS might as well be called the best if it was that.

Best thing, fly on the sim, then run out on the street. Best comparison. Or take a laptop to the field

[8D]Hi people

I think the best simulator must have the same (or so) difficulty of the real plane.

If with G2 modified planes you can hover and torque roll too easily, you'll learn very little[]

When you'll fly the real plane you'll get in trouble[&:]

And it took you since December to figure this out? Numerous responses have pointed this out from the beginning. The sim is a tool, not a replacment. Get your butt to the field and practice what you have learned. Joe

Vittorio, it means get out in the fresh air, with your friends, bring your plane and have some fun experimenting with the manuvers that you have learned. Go, no talk, just go fly. Joe

I've not understood "get your butt to the field".

"Portare il suo culo al campo di RC."

AFP e molto amando il volare reale. Ci e no migliore, molto meglio poi G2. Quando lei vola AFP e stesso come il campo. Lei puo fare gli stessi movimenti sul computer come lei sul campo. Guardare il di films www.aeroflypro.com da Maarten De Moor.

Ciao il mio amico,

[8D]Hi people

Dear Dion, I've seen videos you suggested.
I think the plane Extra 330 flies too slow in hovering and doing rolling circles.
The real model plane would fall off at that low speed. Like G2 large planes that, with wingspan 3 meters, have weight of 4 kg. Ridiculous.

On Sunday I'll get my butt to the field and I hope there is no wind.

I hope our leader Berlusconi has made G.W. Bush reasoning. We can't solve great problems by force. Only reasoning and helping others to reason.

Vittorio, good luck on Sunday. Remember, pointy side up in a hover. Where is SPAD3D, is he boycotting this thread? What about Arnold, is he afraid of us? Joe

[]Unfortunately there was still too much wind at the field. My Magic waved, lifted the tail and "vaffanculo" also today.

Yes the race was very interesting. Did you see that car which flipped over and the dustruction? It was a war zone on Monte Carlo today my friend.

[8D]Hi people

I'm curious about a thing: in Italy high school (14 -18 years old) finishes on 5 of June and will start at the beginning of September.

Is it the same also in your country?

Thank you.

[8D]Hi people

In your experience, what has been the easiest plane to hover/torque roll and the most difficult?

Dion, the chief of OMP, after my right criticism (large and heavy planes that can fly too slowly in AFP and RF G2) can no longer what to say.

its all about preferences. i personally like plane X which my mate over there hates, but he loves his plane Y which i cant think of any plane which is crapperer. see, i think the flip is a great 3Der, thats if youve got a good powerplant, but obviously a 40%er will be far better, it also depennds obn how deep you pocket(s) are

[8D]Hi people

Dear old friend edible_engine

I've not asked a philosophical question. Which of your planes was the easiest for you to hover/torque roll and which of your planes was the most difficult for you?

well, personally i think the cougar is by far the easyest plane to hover, i cath mine out of the hover no probs without worrying itll do somthin funny like chop me hand off. However apart from hovering, TRs and harriers it wont do much else. i find my flip very good at 3D, even better if i had some semi decent servos
