Default H9 Edge W/DA100

Aloha, have not posted for over a year..
Monday I will be ordering H9 Edge, hardware kit, DA-100 w/muffs, JR 9303, 6-8411's, 1-8611(rud)
(TAX RETURN)
I've read the reveiws on the plane and equipment and I've personally seen the DA's in action.
I'm feeling very positive about my choices but I would like to here from anyone that has flown this setup.
Any comments, tips, suggestions would be great!
Any thoughts on batt chemistry for dual RX batterys?
NiMh?
Lion?
V Regs?
Any thoughts on servo lead wire gauge?
Thanks Guys..

a populer setup is the duralight lithium polymer batteries from chief aircraft - I have a friend who flies a 35% edge with two of those batteries

they are 7.4 volt and u can get a six volt regulater and some distributer for multiple batteries- they are very light and chiefaircraft.com has really everything for electricks on big gassers[&:]

You can see much detail and setup options here in the rcu review we did on this aircraft. You said you read the reviews but not sure if you caught the one here too. It is far more detailed then what you have probably read elsewhere.

we used fromeco packs in our review model. Heavy duty extensions from cermark and Hobbico. You could go li-ion or nimh. We used single packs for our test flights (li-ion) but I will likely add a 2nd pack for redundancy before flying this spring. Options are to use the dual switches with the 2 packs or something like the "batshare" device from smart-fly. The batshare will let you run 2 separate size packs into one receiver. The device pulls from the pack with the highest voltage. This gives you redundancy and increased capacity. http://www.smart-fly.com Since I have an extra 1900 pack or possibly 2800 li-ion pack sitting on the bench I might try the batshare on this plane for the redundancy. Just another solution for dual pack setups.

DA100 for power. You'll love the combo. Plenty of power and won't leave you wanting for more.

A guy at our field was flying that exact setup yesterday (H9 540 with DA 100). All I can say is power won't be a problem

The plane looked like it flew light. The pilot is very happy with the combo and is anxious for the engine to break in so he can start leaning it out.
