I am building a Goldberg Wild Stick 40 and am putting a Rossi 53 on it and I have a JR 783 7 channel radio to put in it. I want to use the 4 servo's in the wing and set up the crow on a switch. The software in the radio only shows the crow in the sailplane software and I want to set it up as an airplane. Can someone give me some ideas on how this is done. I guess instead of flapperons the outboard ailerons are mixed as spoilerons because the ailerons need to go up when the flaps go down. Could it be done as a sailplane, would the throttle still work? Thanks in advance for any help. I know Hanger 9 was using this set up on their sticks but I don't know how it was done.

Yup- just remember "spoilers= Throttle"
Thats really the only difference- there are more mixes for 4-servo wings in the sailplane mode. I have a 388X- the fore-runner of the 783, and I used sailplane for my Magic- worked fine. Plus if there is anything silly you want to do there are like five free- mixes in the sailplane section. No assignable switches though... Just on, off, and switched.
GL in your programming.

Can you tell me where you found your wild stick .40 plans? I crashed mine and the only thing that survived was the wing. It really is a good flying model. It was my third plane and i had a ball with it, and now i found out that goldberg went under so now i'm stuck. I've been serching everywhere for the plans or maybe someone who might have a fuselage. Can you help me out. I thank you for your time. e-mail address is [email protected].

if you are going to build a one piece wing you can use one servo for the flaps/crow, and a servo per aileron halve....crow/flap are not demanding torquewise on the servo
