What happened to the Taco?
If you don't mind building, the Sig Somethin Extra will have a good verticle on a .90.
How much are you willing to spend?

Super Tigre 90? I would think you want more like a 60 size plane, around 60" wing span. The Harrier 90 would be nice. If you don't mind profile, the Accell's Katana 70 would be good. Also, if you are on a tight budget, build a Mojo 60, the best flying plane in this size.

I don't think Something Extra will accommodate the G90: it won't fit, will require too much tail weight to balance, and ground clearance will be an issue.

LMAO.. ok.. the TACO is still here but it flies BAD... very bad characteristic! i'd be happy to crash it anyday... but not now. sig somethin extra is WAY out..lol . i'd go anyplane that is STABLE any does good 3D... includin profile. i like profiles but after the experience w/ my SCRATCH BUILT TACO, and being my first and only profile, profiles are now gonna be the last choice ( and i don't like the lateral balancin profile has too). one question about the harrier 90... would it hover and have enough power to hover that plane? i'm willin to spend $150 on the new plane... my choices in mind rite now is...

Futana 40
Katana GS 70
Harrier 90 ( if the engine is good for it)

oh.. yea.. i haven't flown for like 2 months now and i usually fly 2 times a week so i'm lookin for an ARF... not really a kit

Fliton Extra 330 Freestyle is your only choice. An awesome mixture of precision and 3D on a budget. I got mine for $205 (that comes stock with Composite Gear and CF wing tube). I am flying it with the Saito 1.00 and the power is just sick!!!

yeah.. the .90 come off the funtana but there was no damage what so ever, and NO dirt got onto or into the engine. if you can recomemend a good profile for that engine size and and right money. anything will help here... cause i don't know which one is the best. so your recomemdations of planes and tips will help me a lot

How about a Goldberg Matrix or a Phoenix Models Funstar. They're $110 and $100 respectively. These will get you in the air faster.

You could ask this in the Matrix threads. I'm unfamiliar with the Funstar's flying, but All the reviews of the Matrix look good.

ok, if you like to harrier then use a plane with a square wing or diferencial airfoil on wingtips (like funtana thicker airfoil on tip), with a sharper LE than rounded; if you fly KE and like slow rolls and stuff like that you need a plane with lots of lateral area (more=better), if you like a violent tumbler and flat spiner then go for a short tail or go for a long tail (pattern like) for slow and straight 3D, AND the bigger plane for your engine NOT the bigger engine for the plane, It have to pull out of hover secure it is a nonsense to rocket out with a monster engine

You could hover with your engine on the harrier 90. i hover mine at half throttle with my saito 120. if you like to hover the harrier is the plane for you and only 170 bucks thats a great deal. the plane is one of the best quality arfs i have seen.

I haven't flown a Harrier, but from what I've heard it is a good plane. Better than a Funtana. I would suggest, however, a GP U Can Do .60. I have seen many of these and your .90 will be a good match for it.

ok... i have decided... i'm going to go for a small plane around .40 i don't want to get a big one that is like $200 ready to fly and crash it on the third flight like the futana i had ( dad told me this) so i'll go w/ him. i'm now looking for a small 3D capable plane... like the MATRIX! can you please help me... just looking a plane that is small around a .40 and small on the $$$ too.... thanks a lot!

PS wut engine would have enough power to pull the matrix out of a hover? (doesn't need to be a rocket)

.47 would prolly be good but why don't you just beef up the firewall and use the .90? come to think of it the .90 may not fit in the front? I don't know for sure
