BTW, Kyle, I've been meaning to ask you, what is the name of the song in that second Edge video. The one that is not Madonna. I like that song.
Also, could you please post your Dropin In 2, like the link you did with the Edge. I'm using Mozilla for internet and for some reason, it won't let me save that. It's shows I'm saving it but when I click properties, it has no bytes. NOTHING. Hope you can do that.
Thanks alot
~Michael~

Were you using a YS110fz motor in the F90 vid? Was it set really rich there or do YS motors just smoke that much? Oh and at what alti were you at? Prop??
Thanx,
Oh and friggen fantastic flying bro..

You really know how to be smooth on the sticks with that Extra. How many times do you switch back and forth between high and low rates? Knowing you, probably never! I have yet to see someone fly better than what you can do. Do you use the flight condition switch on your Eclipse? I haven't got that one figured out yet.

Kyle, since you didn't seem opposed to a pilot forum, I thought others might feel the same way and so I posted a poll on it. If you don't want it, then let me know and I will erase it.

I definately agree on Kyle getting a seprate pilot forum for him. Your skills are just amazing Kyle.
I think a pilot forum would be great.
Thanks Al for the link. I don't know why that one video won't d/l, but thank for the help. I have ALL his other videos saved except this one!!
Boy that Extra really does fly like I would expect a real 3D plane to fly.
Thanks again Al!

How much throw in ° are you getting. I think you told me 55° on the elevator. What about everything else?
Thanks

Kyle, I just saw the Funtana vids. Excelent flying. I didn't know that the F90 was that aerobatic. I've seen a few fly at the field, but they really didn't appear that they could 3D. (This further convinces me that you should have a pilot forum.)

Hey Kyle i was wondering just wich YS 120 you are using on your showtime and funtana, is it the 120 FZ. Also do you have any idea what weight the showtime came out at with the 120 up front.
Also there is a long standing debate at my field as to the fact that a member of my club says that you do not fly with any mixes and you do not use low rates on your funtana. Is this true and if so is this also true for the showtime
thanks,
Lyndon

WOW, that's pretty crazy when people at your field are debating on stuff like that. I mean, no crazy, but you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure he would have to use some kind of mixes or if it isn't that bad on coupling in knife edge then you can just manually do it, right?
I know it doesn't seem like he uses up and down ailerons with elevator when doing harriers or anything. I haven't seen the ailerons go up and down

Hey. I have the YS 120 FZ. I have not wieghed the showtime yet, but i think it came out lighter than the funtana. But i also forgot that weight.
and i have not check my throws yet... I am away from my pllace for the weekend, so i will check all that when i gwt home.
I do not have any mixes or rates for either the showtime or the funtana.
Yeah, i think the madonna usic went well with the video. that's about the only reason i used it..

Wonder what's the set-up on that? Those elevators look crazy fast!
That was some pretty good flying. Hey, maybe Kyle could be the pilot for videos like this to show off the new planes from Hangar 9 or other Mnfgs. What do ya think about that Kyle?
Sounds good to me. See, when people see what an awesome perfomance a plane does, then they will want to get it, that point already established. Case in point (Kyle of course) and then my good friend Mike Hill (Mpattern19 I think). He was flying a Shocky outside his hobby store and a couple guys watched and they came in to buy the plane, thinking they were going to put the plane together and start flying like Mike was doing.
When people see the flying by Kyle then they would be more tempted to get the plane and the set-up that is used for the video (they have seen what that certain setup will do). I think this would be good.
What do you think Kyle?

Kyle, after watching the Funtana vids time and time again, I started wondering how you do such good KE spins. I've tried on the sim and thought it looked pretty good, but then I watched your vid. Does the ability to KE spin come with practice, a good plane, or both? How do you do your KE spins?
Thanks,

Hey guys... sorry for the long wait on the reply.. been busy with school starting..
The Funtana does do great KE spins. A lot of KE spins is in the setup, you don't want it too tailheavy, or it will just flatten out into an accelerated upright flatspin. How i do it is hold the rudder stick to the right and push the right stick to the top and a little to the left... once the plane starts to spin slide the aileron over the right just enough to adjust the angle of the wings to where they are vertical.. It will take a few trys to find the sweetspot, but once you do, it will stay there forever..
the showtime does them very well, probably better than the funtana. But it is a lot more difficult to get into them..
I also have spoilerons mixed in to really get the funtana spinning, but it does them great without aswell..
