Is there anyone that has modified the rudder to where it fits inside the tail, and the ends of the servo horns are sticking out like the Great Planes 1/3 scale Cap that just came out.
What about pull-pull on the elevators. I'm thinking someone would have to do alot because you would have to move the servo up so you could get the pushrod, or cable over the top. Right now, I think the elevator servo is too low, and it's pretty much right under the LE of the horizontal stab....
Can it be done, if so what would need to be done.
Thanks
~Michael~

i stay right off of exit 55 on hwy 85. I do not see a reason that pull pull won't work on that bird the servo sits under the canopy in most deal and then u use 4 horns 2 on top and two on the bottom and one servo, cut some small holes 4 the cable to enter/exit to the servo. I am off to a b-game let me know if i can be of anymore assistance.

2-3" SERVO arm!! Its that a typo.
I'm still trying to follow you here. Did you mean to say 2-3" servo arms. Do they even have these? I only use a max of 1 1/2" and that's on the ailerons, 1" max on rudder and elevator.
What do you mean by pull-pull pretty much on the rudder. I can see how you mean this though.
Thanks though.
My Uncle is at exit 63 BTW.
Thanks

take a look at these pics. i have pull pull on this plane rudder & elevator see if you can see its a pulling action that makes everything work. the bigger servo arm will let both parts more for 3d if you are not going to 3d a standard arm that come with servo will work. look at the pic then hit me up on your ?'s

Alrighty then. I got you.
You're pretty much saying, cover up the servo wells in the tail and put the rudder and elevator servos in the fuse near the front just like you have your's? I think that's what you mean.
Also, I see what you mean by 2-3" servo horns. You're talking about the TOTAL length including both sides. I was thinking one that was 2" on ONE side. My bad.
Thanks for the help though.
What would I have to do to the place where you have your servos for Pull-pull? I know that's on he Hype, but I'm quite positive that the servos would come up on the canopy. That's the only place to put them, and when I cut the holes for them, the bottom of the servos would be in the canopy.
Hmmmm??
Thanks again

sounds like you will have to see what is the best spot for your set up it may mean putting a hatch somewere to access the servo like how a fun fly has the hatch on the wings sometimes. if so use some 1/4 square to mount your servo in the correct location.
By George i think u have it hit me up if i can be of anymore assistance.

Here's the way I did on mine. I had a TT.46 and it had to be built as light as I could. I instaled the servo inside the canopy so I didn't have to use lead on the nose.
I'll try to post the pictures. If it does not work please tell me how to do it =/

Posting your rudder is just fine. That's also what I was looking for. The modifying to get pull-pull on the rudder AND elevator, not just elevator.
The only thing that I don't like is the servo sticking up through the canopy like what I was afraid would happen.
I'm sure I could get into the tail section back there and add come square mounting places and go from there.
I just like to experiment, but I don't want to mess up a perfectly good plane.
I'm just thinking how everything would work out.
Thanks
~Michael~
