Default 2.3 comp arf extra harrier problems

ok kids, i'm a 3d wannabe. i've learned how to 3d on a sim and have gotten the "hang" of it with small electrics so i decide i want to move up to a 'semi' large plane that is more then capable of anything i want to do. i got the 2.3 comp arf extra and it really is a work of art. i am set up with zdz-80, 8611's throughout, and a dry weight of 20 lbs 2 oz. i have the cg set at 115mm back from the leading edge (the aft most setting the manual recomends). i actually had it back further but it was almost impossible to land and extremely pitch sensative. when i attempt a 'harrier' or 'elevator', i get a huge amount of wing rock. everyone i've heard from says it is rock solid in a harrier. i've even tried spoilerons and it doesn't help at all. what am i missing? i checked the lateral balance by the prop shaft, and it's right on. i know that may not be the most accurate way due to right thrust, but actually, the shaft is pretty much centered on the airframe, so i guess it's on. will a slight amount of lateral imbalance cause that much problem in a harrier? i have about 2 gallons of fuel thru her and every flight, i've adjusted something with no help. out of ideas, any 3d experts out there have any suggestions of what to try, or how to tell if the airplane is set up properly for 3d?

thanks!!

mine is equipped with DA50 and KS tuned pipe. The CG is right on the target. I don't seem to have any wing rock but at the same time I never relax my fingers. I found that the sweetspot is around 45degree angle. So try to play with throttle a bit. I don't use any spoilerons.

I agree. I'll bet its in finding and getting used to the sweet spot. And each ship has its own feel in high alpha. It always takes me a bit to harrier a new ship well. I seem to need to get a feel for it, what it requires. And you do have to stay on it. I've had very few airplanes you could just add up, a bit of throttle and watch.

excellent, i appriciate your comments and i haven't ruled out dumb thumbs. i know what you mean about always beeing "on it" because like i said, i have several small electrics that i can harrier all day...but something just doesn't feel right about this one. fredo, you said your cg is "right on the target" what is your cg set for 115mm? i also noticed last night that in high rate, full deflection, my elevator halves were off about two clicks from each other. that may have been a contributor. i'm going to hang the plane from fishing wire to accuratly balance it then back out to the field.

As it says in the instruction manual between 100 and 115mm, mine is set on 110mm and it feels just right. Here is the picture.

nice pic fredo! i adjusted the throttle setting so it was less sensative at the low end. just waiting for a nice day....supposed to be 80 and sunny here in delaware tomorrow, so i'll get back on it and see what i can do. thanks again for your input. i may move my cg forward a bit....at 115 it's very pitch sensative and landings are tough...just wants to float forever.
