Again, I'm sure the plane is teriffic. The Fusion was very good workmanship, the Kat V2 is a smokin' ride NO DOUBT. Whether this plane kicks hooved animals or not, I'll have to pass. If OMP was importing them, I'd likely try one. I've purchased twice there in recent months, and felt good about both purchases. Mike, John, and Steve are all tops in my book.
But I'll agree whatever covering is on the Kat V2 is good stuff. Whatever it is, it's plenty comparable to the "big two".
Mr Hobby-Motory/TMPro, I like your work.
I wish you well, or at least better than you have it now.

Is this the Extra OMP has been whispering about? It looks a lot like some of their recent color schemes...will they be carrying it soon as well?

I don't know if they will be carrying them or not, but they haven't called for an order. There will be many other dealers selling them through TMPro USA network and also direct online. New website is about 12 days away.
Actually the scheme is semi-scale to the one sitting in the National Air Space Museum. Trim was designed TMPro. Here are the updated sticker sheets.

Very nice looking plane. To bad people have such an aversion to your "advertizing" I think it's great you can let us know what's new. Most of us can still make a decision on our own and would not hold you responsible for any advertizing. How about you make some of those cool "fairings/winglets/SFG's(side force generators (TM H9)) for my new Kat V2 70? Hmm I could probably make them myself. I would like a set of pants for it though.

OMP advertise the new shipment of the V2's that arrived include wheel pants as standart for the 70's.
Wonder how the winglets will go on the 70.
its a 61.5" wing span and very light tips, you might cause flatters that will cause crash.
try really slow flights first
let us know how it was...

wow! I just stumbled onto this thread.
Some folks need to get past the Mojo and onto the new designs.(Mojo's hover pretty sweet though)
The fairings are side force generators much like the ones that are on many of the latest offerings from H9 and other companies. Wheel pants, love 'em or hate 'em, they look cool to me. This looks to be one of the better new planes on the market and I will definitely be getting one soon. It sure looks like a winner!
