Weight? I looked on the site and didn't see it. Will it come in under 4.5?

Can you explain the landing gear setup or show a better closeup....is the only thing holding them in are those 2 LG straps with wood screws...or do those screws go at least all the way through?

Very interesting. What made you decide to go all profile? Are these your own designs?

IMO those lading gear won't make one landing. They look sorta like Mojo landing gear, but not quite right. They should be longer and have a big piece at the top.

Wheel pants on a profile? Wonder how long they would hold up in a rough grass field?

Just wondering about price too? A lot of the current crop seem to run in the 105-125 range?

this plane is awesome, we have it here allready...
nothing get close to it.

The landing gears have screws that goes all the way to other side and lock with nuts,
the "things" on the wing tips called fairings and are removable as you wish very easy with 2 screws,
the landing gear are super strong and very easy to attach.
I have flown many profiles but never so such perfect gears design, the all wood it is on is very strong and seems very stable,
price is much higher here offcurse, but guys, it has even Extension wires... those alone would be 15$ and its exectly
the ones you need with style and lengths.

The weight comes about 1800g, not sure how to convert into pounds, but it is light.
the accessories are great and I have used all standart supplyed set.

I am sure you guys are gonna love it and its sure kick asses....

ohhh... forgot to tell you about the wheel pants.
If any of you ever used a pair, you are going to be amazed of what you are going to get here.
It is the most easiest wheel pants I ever had, and I did over 100 I think,
looks so cool and so flexiable so I think it can never break...all companies should do that I think.

Well...
fair‧ing–noun
1. a structure on the exterior of an aircraft or boat, for reducing drag.
2. a structure, as a rigid, transparent, plastic sheet, at the front of a motorcycle, bicycle, etc., for deflecting wind and rain.

I doubt it has much to do with deflecting wind or rain, so please explaing how these reduce drag???

Also, I'm not sure I want to read such foul language on such a respectable and mainstream forum. Please edit. There are forums where such things are alolowed, but not here.

Please continue to forget. Wheel pants? Keep them, and charge me $5 less for my plane please.

Truth be told Hobby-Motory, (IMHO) the plane looks really nice, and I think you have some real expertise in this area. Too bad reality requires you to be judged buy the company you keep. Nobody in particular, of cousre, I'm just saying...[:-]

Landing gear is the same as the Kat V2's .46's. I'll get more pics ASAP. The protoype in the pics has screws, final version will have bolts.

Sorry, but this is not a Katana, rather an Extra 260 P. Thanks for your interest.

The save them for a rainy day. They attach very easily for when you want to fly when girls are on the field and you want to impress them with your wheel pants.

Price is $149 preorder in about 2 weeks, $159 when they come in.

No it's not ultracote but it rivals it. Same covering on the Katana V2 series ... talk to someone that has a plane. They will tell you the covering will rival the other 2 guys.

Actually I was refering to your website as a whole. Is that just a misprint on the website?

Never mind, I get it. You are the exclusive distributer of these Extras...and OMP is the exclusive distributors of the Katanas that are also on your web site. Clear as Mud. I've never taken marketing, but I'm sure I'd fail, just from my perception of truth.

That is not my website, that is TMPro's website. I am building a website for TMProUSA.com which will be open in about 2 weeks when we start taking pre-orders. For right now I just have it pointing to the factory site.

Now you have the inside dirt. Just another company trying to sell planes, pretty cut and dry. Don't worry, no name changes here and I won't be running off to any other countries anytime soon.

Tailtwister says
Please continue to forget. Wheel pants? Keep them, and charge me $5 less for my plane please.
Better yet, Frank give me a call when pre-orders begin and I'll give you an additional $10 off the pre-order price, just because your you. Keep the wheel pants as my gift. Give them to one of your friends that flies off pavement. I'm sure you have lots of friends to choose from!

Also, if you haven't noticed these wheelpants are custom cut to roll over grass much better then standard pants. Take a closer look at them.

So will we be able to click a link for a Mojo on here and be directed to that site as well?

Not anymore. I didn't realize how much Swany enjoyed and was so loyal to RCU as an advertiser, so I'll let him have it, for now.

Thanks for your support and interest. Don't worry, they will be here soon enough!

OK Mr dictionary....

ass·es (sz)
1. Any of several hoofed mammals of the genus Equus, resembling and closely
related to the horses but having a smaller build and longer ears, and including
the domesticated donkey.
2. A vain, self-important, silly, or aggressively stupid person.
