Done sanding and filling (sneeze)! Covering starts this weekend and I will be using profilm. Whats the feeling on using a primer? How does the profilm stick over the ply sides?
Who's got a good idea on fixing the fuel tank? Fit in some rails and wedge with foam?

just read the review, high praise indeed. says just about all we say here. you might not know $h*t when it comes to aeros, but the Capiche will make you think and look like you do
you said it. That did not apply to me as i never will want to own a capiche.
All this has made me realise how good my Wot 4 is.

you see that house on grand designes last night? now thats allot of concrete! lol
Thinking of colour schemes, how heavy is profilm? cos i got a great design, well 2, but there real complex and need kots of film. the other is quite simple.

I dont know exact weigths of profilm, but if you want to save weight use the clear and/or metallic stuff , because its a bit lighter than the solid colours
probably why most artfs use metallic or clear profilm

My scheme is white base with blue LE and yellow after that (like example on capiche website) but there is Capiche 50 written on one wing and stars on the other so I can distinguish more easily. Also a flameball on one side of the fuz, with Capiche 50 upside down on the other side. On the underside of the wings there is a sort of sunburst pattern with red, yellow and orange maybe.
Simple but easy to see in air (I hope)

If the yellow and orange is bright enough you will see it all right. Try some fluorescent orange- gives you a headache looking at it on the ground but is easy to see in the air.
