Ditto, I don't want to stretch the cash. So I might buy one or two standards, my current 3003's will be used but they have some slop [:@]

I was thinking about maybe picking up some servo covers. Apart from keeping crud out of the alieron and elevator servos do they serve any other purpose and are they really necaserry? I know carbon copy do carbon ones for about £7 a pair but something cheaper like GRP would be better.

I recorded some of the flights. Anyone on saturday may have seen me with a HUGE videocamera which is 10 years old on my right hand shoulder. Some people thought I was from the BBC
I gots most of the stuff but some I didn't, I couldn't find a David Combi razorplane so bought a Zona one instead. It looks ok but I have no idea where to buy replacement blades.
Got the Capiche 50 of course, although it wasn't that straight forward. A nice person in Carbon Copy said he would have to sort out all the boxes as they were all jumbled up and should have been outside with Island Hobbies. But I got it done in the end and it was onl;y £150 then add £30 for the covering, but I couldnt get orange so my scheme is a bit muffed now. They didn't have the 3mm linkages! So I'll pop around to my local LHS and buy 3mm links and some closed loop.
I looked through all the parts of the Capiche 50 and they seemed to be of very nice quality but the hole on F1 is missing.
Still the plans are very very clear comapred to other plans I have seen and the build seems simpler than anticipated. Now, all I need is a flat table and board! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
Sandown was good but less than I had expected. So wings and wheels I cant wait for now!
Capiche looks super so I cannot wait to get started now. As soon as I get that darned table...
On a last note, Miss BMFA was very pretty....

(ok so my interest in their stall did increase somewhat when I saw her smile [X(])Anyway some nice flying done by everyone. I really liked the Boy's torque rolls. Very nice. I also was there for the first flight of the day, Dave was up first, straight into a rolling circle from take off, so not wanting to be out done, so was Luke

Definately added a C50e to my list having seen it go (and it dig go

Cabane, good to meet you at last, i recognised you right away. i think we should all use a photo of ourselves as our avitar!!
(kidding)
i had a good show lots of fun and not a bit of damage to any of my models! Result. the heli mid air was the best i have seen. only down point was that it was one of my mates flying it and it was not his heli. which is sad

Are C50's displaying at Wings and wheels? Anyone who missed me at Sandown see me at W&W if my camara doesnt crush me.
I was making G-force noises holding that dinosaur.

Heli mid air was truly spectacular - even the pilot of the one inverted hovering admitted it was the best he had seen. True dedication by Paul that he went back home to fix up his spare, test fly it and then get back to display in the afternoon !

Was well impressed with the C140's, and had some enjoyable flights with my C50 fun. Gutted for the big Jet Ranger though, Never seen a heli go in like that before.
