Default Gotta sing the praises!

I've been quite negative about a certain "poor service" company here lately. Something about really wanting to buy a plane and not getting an e-mail answer. I also couldn't get anyone on the phone. You folks may have read it.

Today, I scrapped the project I wanted so badly to do, and went another direction. I needed some stuff for the project.

I needed first, a Jett Engineering Muffler. It's Saturday morning, and the phone was answered on the second ring. Dubb still had all of my information on file. It had been two years since I called and ordered, but he had it all. He took my order, and guess what? It was in stock and will ship on Monday.

Secondly, I wanted a glass cowl and pants. I called Stan's Fibertech. Again Saturday morning, and again answered within two rings. He also had my information on file. He also has the parts I need. He also will ship on Monday.

These are not huge Great Planes or Horizon type of companies. They are fairly small in comparison.

THIS IS THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!

I hope certain companies are reading this!

That's a 5 out of 5 smile rating for Jett Engineering and Stan's Fibertech.

I agree, I like dealing with small manufacturer's.

I ordered a FG cowl from Stan's a gew weeks ago. Stan took the time to explain how the cowls were made and what I would have to do to get an excellent finished installation. When I mentioned that I was a newbie to R/C, he said welcome to the hobby and spent some more time telling some of his RC stories.

When I hung up I had the feeling that I had made a connection with someone who was passionate about the hobby and sincerley wanted to help develop my interest in the hobby rather than just process my Visa number and get on with his day.

I once ordered the wrong cowl from Stan's. I realized it after I had cut it to fit my engine and exhaust. He said, "No problem, I have a 100% guarantee. Just ship it back to me, and I'll replace it with the correct one."

That's a sorta' quote by the way.

The point is that he says 100% and he means it!
