Default hitec servo ????

got 5645's in my new gasser and noticed that the elevator servos (dual) move same till i get to the upper throws, then the one continues to move aftr the other has stopped.( just a few deg's).. there is a servo reverser lead on them and when i installed it i did notice a small potentiometer (spelling sucks) on the small ckt. brd in the reverser lead . is that for tuning them to work the same ..did'ent want to jst start turning it.. anybody seen this ?? all the stuff is brand new..thanx tim

your geometry could be off.... another possiblity is that not all elevator halves move equally, if your hinge gap is more on one halve, it will travel further, and you will have to adjust your your endpoint to the elevator halve that moves less..... sounds confusing but ive experienced that before...

if you need a a reversed servo i take it you dont have a computer radio.... or do you?

outacntrl, that's exactly what the potentiometer is for. Worse comes to worse, you can always set it back to where it was .

when running 2 individual servos such as elevator control, you must make sure both elevator arms / links are set at the same distance so both will have equal throws. if one arm is slightly out from the other side arm you won,t have the same throws. have a close look at the elevator arms and compare how even they are to the stab, if one is 1mm off you have the problem.
