I knoked of the U/C cos the spat ( or wheel pant to the Americans) was squiffiy.
I only fun 148s on all surfaces but it flyies a dream. Now my engine is run in at the low end (had to screw it in 2 turns!!! for it to throttle well. dun no how it still run wen its mega rich. no wonder it was idiling at about 3000rpm............LOL) it flyies the dogs. it even flatspins using full elv and full rud. no ail.

Edible I've replaced my u/cart with wire, from an old Panic. Much more flexible and more forgiving for grass strips. Keep practicing the slow manoeuvers.

I need a new U/C for my cougar. Doing looping touch and goes the other day and every time i touched i couldn't go. Why? cos my bl**dy engine stopped cos it hit the ground. Far too springy and far too short.
Also, i can now do slow maneuvers. Harriers, tork rolls blah blah blah, you'll now wat they all are.
Are you coming to the fly in down (or up, wherever Cheshire is in the UK) in Essex in sept.
Getting rid or the spats, even though the make the model look great.
Wot do you think of the flips colour scheme. i love it. most don't.
Does your covering drum, mine does, sounds great

Cheshire being a Shire county we expect people to travel to us, passports maybe required. We donot travel to places such as Essex, maybe Hertfordshire or Lincolnshire, but certainly not Essex.
The colour scheme is great, makes repairs a breeze, any blue, yellow, green or even pink!
Try a slow roll on the spot with little forward movement!

yeh i got other's
but to be honest i think my hype 3d is better than the flip... ive just taken the engine and radio out of the flip and put it in the loft ...
the radio is going in my edge 540 and the engine(irvine 53) is going to a club member..
i might keep the flip for later on... i will have to see what happen's

Dont sell, wat if you crash the Hype. then you can take the radio and engine out of it. I gotta tell you, Wests are AMAZING in flips. even with 148s on all controlls.
Take my advise. youll regret it if you sell it.
Anyway, who makes the edge. please dont tell me you bought a twin seat version. there ugly compares to the singal seatversion.
Bye

Edible , I replaced the hinges with the Great planes fabric covered mylar hinges but my "cocktail stick" pegs missed the hinges, and a few too many snap rolls pulled an aileron out! Fortunately only a little repairable damage was the result.
