Kinda feel sorry for my Zero Pilot hes thier wating to fly but is currently grounded due to lack of time lol.
Please keep us informed on the build
i would love a step by step of when u do ur retracts, as i havent fitted retracts before and it would be extremely helpful if u can take a few pics
Ps : I was planning on getting a Super Custom 120 Four Stroke in.......
Many Thx

Well, this is how it looks now.
Im using eurokit air/spring retracts, and they are 25mm wide, where the mounts are only 20mm wide.
I have then removed 5mm of the mount to fit the unit.
I have to order some longer and a bit different lookin oleo strust so it will look good.
The 6mm steel pin that connect the strut to the retract unit has to be bent forward so it all fits nicely together.
Do you guys thenk the 90 is too small?
HAve a look at the specs: http://www.webra-austria.at/motor.ph...r=AERO&lang=EN

borrowed the oleos from my eurosport jet just to see how it looks.
The ones I have ordered are longer.
When I first bought the plane I thought I neede to get 120 degrees retracst to fit the wing properly.
But standard 90 degree`s work fine [8D]

nope...I dont use all that stuff.
Im just good at eye-balling :-)
The yellow stripes, you can just stick them gentaly at each end on both siden of the wings, and see If they match up. If its all lined up, then rub them on. If not, just lift it off again gentaly, and stick them on lightly again until you are satisfied.

Wow, it's looking really nice. I am starting to be a real fan of these CMPro warbirds! How is the hardware? Not familiar with the Webra engine. What is this comparable to? I assume it is 2 stroke...? Should be plenty. I plan to fly my GSP Spit with a TT 91 FOUR STROKE! I am not concerned with power.
I feel a 4 stroke does give you more flyability though (more usable rpm range, broader power curve, etc.) even though it has less overall power. Thunder Tiger .91 FS, I hope will be a great engine for the Spitty, since it weighs a ton and has gobs of power -- both things a warbird needs in the nose!

Yea, It looks realy nice. I think its a great deal for low price ofthis plane. Im pleased.
The stock hardware is the same as all other ARF`s. Ive never had a problem with it, even though many say it is junk.
The webra engine Im sure will fly this plane in a scale maner. It wont be vary powerfull :-)
I dont know what to compare the webra too. But its one powerfull 91 2st. !
it says 108 2st and 120 4st on the box.
This is quite a large plane.
With my heavy 91, it is still tail heavy.
Im going to build a battery box over the engine, and use heavy 2400 batteries.
Did you see the review of the spitfire ?
