Yeah round cowls are good for that.
On the Ultimate my engine is going to be hanging out like a giant tumor.

For some reason the pics are posting in a large size and not in thumbnails so I will repost them here...
Also I never noticed before but if you look at the second pic in post 267 one of the blue blocks on the checkerboard of the top left wing was missing. I made a new one from the extra Ultracote Aeroworks supplies and ironed it on. It was the one just to the left of the Futaba decal on the aileron.

Not at this time. We are currently working on a 100cc version Ultimate 20-300.
Maybe in the future?
Thank you

Super08 : your plane really looks nice !! Hope you get to fly it soon, as I recently got a good day to fly mine and what a great flying plane it is !! My buddy test flew mine as he's really a good flyer. He had to give about 1 click on the aileron trim & that was it . After he landed it, I went all over the plane checking everything & then I flew it & found it really does fly nice. The eng. ran perfectly & what a great landing I had also !!
I'm really excited to fly it again & I'm sure yours will fly flawlessly too !!
Thanks, John

js/rc thanks.
I got to fly it today....Woo Hoo what a plane! It flew hands off the first flight. No trim required, none, nadda, zip. Never had that happen before. The roll rate is unbelievable, even on low rates this plane rolls like a bullet. Spins like a top too. Knife edge required much less input than any other plane I have had. Then it slows to a crawl and kisses the ground like an Angel on landing. All this and the winds were 20 mph gusting to 30 mph. I am hyped! I hope my 100cc Yak flys this nice when I get the chance to maiden it.

Glade you like your Python I had one but sold it to get the 75cc 260 I love flying that Pitts and I am really enjoying the extra but I want another pitts now, I miss it that much. Enjoy your Python it is truly a nice ship and a Keeper. BTW How are you liking the MT 57? I had a 3W55 in my last one and if flew great!

Will be nice to hear what you have to say about it after a few gal of fuel, The python just wants lots of power.
Are you using a 22 X 8 prop on your MT 57?
I dont know anything about the VESS props but thought I may try one with the next pitts.

22x8 for now until I get some time on the engine.
Wow is this a great plane. I got a chance to get 4 flights on it today and I don't think there is anything this plane cannot do. I had everyone at the field today standing in awe watching it. It is not that I am a fantastic pilot, this plane just makes you look like one. A thousand thank you's to the Aeroworks team for bringing this to market. Wow!![8D]

Haven't checked here lately & glad I did now . I never thought to mention I also never moved one single trim on mine yet either !! I now have 11 flights on it & it just keeps getting better or else I'm getting comfortable flying it. Just have a 22x8 now & plan to try the Vess 22b when I get it broke in, maybe a little before !! Verticle is just out of sight & landing is like landing a trainer & at our field, we have come down somewhat over trees to get to the runway & I couldn't believe either how it slows down just perfectly. Oh, did I mention the ballistic rolls , lol !! Glad to hear we're all having the same fun !!
Oh, I would have more flights but the weather just doesn't co-operate enough, yet !!
Thanks, John

Hi guys,
Just spent Saturday afternoon reading all the posts on this plane from the beginning. Good information here.
I am costing out this plane and all that I need to get it in the air, and am at the point where I am looking at spinners. I plan to use a 22 x 10 Pro Zinger as the break-in prop (used it on my first giant) then move to a Mejzlik afterward. Of concern are the slots that appear to be a somewhat custom issue when it comes to selecting the proper aluminum spinner such as a Tru-Turn. My first giant was a Yak and I got a Pete Model CF spinner which required me to cut the slots so there was no drama worrying about how the prop would fit.
So how do I know which spinner will work for both props? Selection tends to be somewhat tricky.
Aeroworks recomends the 3 1/2" P-51 aluminum spinner for the Pitts. What are you guys using?
Thanks

cf 3-1/2 and a pt model 22-8. the good thing about cf spinners is they are easy to trim and if you want to order it through troy built they will custom cut it to fit both props you use. i have also used a 4 inch tru turn which looked really good but it was a little heavier

Rick,
The 22x10 Menz cut should fit just about any prop available. I'm pretty sure we have one in stock and I have a pro zinger sitting here that I can use to test fit and make sure it lines up properly if you would like.
