Kid,
In that link (skyvector)it has a warning about parachute and training,
but no mention of MA operating on the (closed) runway... not even a btw/fyi
They are using the north end of the closed north/south runway. Deland has two other runways.

The link was provided for the airport diagram in the airport facilities rollover in the upper left corner. That diagram shows runway 18/36 as closed (Big X on runway). Although some airports report model activity there is not a requirement for it. The club has operated there for 21 years.

I'm trying to get some idea of how many clubs are in the same position as one of mine. We have an agreement with the county airport management that allows our club to fly on a WWII-era training strip. It is an active, uncontrolled airport - just a paved runway in the middle of nowhere, occasionally used by cropdusters, student pilots, and drug runners. Our county has several of these, and we've been fortunate to have access to one or another for about 60 years. I am trying to establish that this is not a unique situation in the event that the FAA SUAS regulations make someone nervous....
If you know of a club with a similar arrangement, please post. I'd like to be able to point out that X clubs in Y states have these agreements - it's comforting to bureaucrats to know they are not alone in allowing something.
Feel free to PM me if you wish to avoid posting.

Cleveland and Seguine TX are two locals close to Houston that are flown at, this is of course with permission, on non-busy days or week-ends, and with continuous radio contact with the FBO manager. People also get permission from small fbo's that are home to only a few hangared ga aircraft, are private, and usually a grass field. Some of, if not most, invite the clubs and like the activity.
