Yes I have the current one and after several flights the plane came back but the tail wheel didn't so I replaced it with a Sullivan Tail Wheel Bracket and have had no problems since .. I did't have a rough take off or landing so I am guessing that it must have been cracked rite from the start because it was broken rite at the sharp bend ..Not a big deal ..Are you having a problem ?

Hey grosbeak. Just went and checked out your website. All I can say is wow. Where do you find the time to build and fly? Must have taken hundreds of hours to put it together. Very impressive. I have a Pulse 40, (which I love flying) but am considering buying a 125. Bigger is better???? I live out in the middle of nowhere, so we get hundreds of birds in the yard. I have to admit, the Rose Breasted is one of my favourites.
Sorry YellowBlueBird didn't mean to step all over your thread. I will delete it if you want.

YellowBlueBird,
To elaborate, mine has over seven hours and, I'm sorry to say, some rather hard landings. I've found skid marks on the bottom of the rudder a time or two, but the tail wheel assembly is holding up fine. If it did bite the dust I, like bikerbc, would replace it with a Sullivan unit - this one
Kevin, I'm glad you like the site. And I fancy myself more of en Evening Grosbeak.
Tailskid, how does it fly with the 15 x 7 x 3?
I found mine very tippy on grass with the stock arrangement so I swapped it out for some TnT landing gear, seen here:

It solved the problem but I like the look of stock better so I added a riser block for clearance and moved the mount forward:

I also added a 15 x 7 x 3 propeller (partly to help slow the plane down at low throttle, partly for ground clearance and partly for looks) which is why I'm asking for your impressions (I have yet to remaiden).

I assembled mine stock and it has held up well. Had to put on a 15/7 three bladed prop for ground clearance and as you can see - there could be room for more
(Or better landing procedure!) Here is mine with my Goldberg ARF in my 'flying truck'.

I had the tip on the snout problem too and I also liked the look of the gear so I also moved the gear forward ..I think I used the back holes in the gear to mount the front bolts in the plane and then drilled two new ones further forward and put two more blind nuts in .. I also had to epoxy in a 1/4" plywood anchor plate inside the plane as well ..It totally cured the problem..

It's supposed to be nice here on Sunday - I'd like to get out to the field and get the Pulse up in the air again!

My Feedback: (34)
My DLE quit on me while flying today.....guess the ignition battery didn't charge like I thought I had....1400 mAh NiCad.....but I suspect the charger didn't charge it overnight. No problems, I was low at the time, took a gentle base leg and then final, glided in for a 'non' excitement landing.
