Ok check it out.....
I have ucan3d 60 with a 91 4stroke. futaba radio (t6xhs) hitec srevos and 7 channel dual conversion receiver (channel 16) and a servo reverser.
When i got to the field and did the range check i walked about 20-30 feet away and the surfaces started to jitter, with the antenna DOWN, eventually it stoped jittering,while i was standing there. Finally i got aroung 100 feet away then put the antenna UP and continued to walk away,130 feet now, it is is still jittering with the antenna up.
Ichanged receivers AND i changed radios still the same problem. What do i do now?
FLY? and not worry about it.
P.s. there are no wires or houses around and i have no problems with any other planes nor does any one else have this problem.

Can you swap out receivers to see if that is the problem? If not, unplug all the servos, and plug them back in one at a time and do a range check for each one to see if a servo is causing the problem. Also, make sure your antenna is not touching any wires or servos and that it is extended fully. I wouldn't fly the plane as it is now.

yea i swaped out receivers too and radios still the same problem
i am gonna try the servo thing.

One of my friends had this same problem with his UCD60... Try unplugging your servos from the receiver one at a time and twisting the extentions up as much as you can without making them too short. I run HiTec digitals in my models and they come with the servo lead twisted already, make all your extensions look like that too and it should fix your problems. Twising the wires breaks up the signal radiating out of the side of the wire but does not affect the signal going through the wire, hence making for less channel to channel interference inside your airframe because servo leads are running next to each other lenghthwise down the fuse. Also, I dont know the capabilities of your radio but if you have an extra channel and the ability, run your elevators on two separate channels mixed together and throw out the reversing Y if possible. The reversing Y has to be re-centered frequently, especially with temp changes. Let us know what you figure out!

hey mr. wilson i tryed unpluging the servos like you said but that did,nt help at all

Hey Bryan the only servo extensions i can twist up, is the y that i have on the alerons every thing else is almost to short as it is , i just can barley get enough slack from the elevator, and the rudder to plug into the receiver, mind you they are behind the throttle (ie Back half of the plane).

Twist your aileron leads all up then and see if they still jitter, if not you know you either have to go to the next size longer extensions so you can twist them or move the receiver back a little.

i was just out range checking again and still the same problem i even unhooked ALL servos and took one of them completly out of the plane removed the extension and pluged it directly into the receiver and replaced the battery and believe it or not, same frikin problem

Do you have another transmitter to try? Sounds like you have eliminated the servos and extensions as part of the problem.

so in other words you have something else interfering pretty strongly on channel 16. try a new frequency, preferably at the other end of the spectrum. (well, probably not higher than 34 or so, might have to have the tx/rx retuned if you go to high band... come to think of it, have you had luck with this setup on low band stuff before? maybe it is already tuned high...)

i found the problem. when i changed the receiver i put one in that had beed in a crash, apparently something goes wrong in a receiver when you crash one, so now i have not one but two bad receivers, go figure.....

I have the same problem with my UCD60 with a Futaba system. I think the Futaba system is more sensitve to interferences than JR.
