Hey one of my buddy's has acquired this very nice looking plane H9 Aresti. on one of his first flights the wing fell off and the plane crashed to the ground! The wing hold down does not look like it was glued in. Has anyone had this trouble with this model?

Flew mine today for the first time. No probs. Great plane! Doesn't like to slow down, though...
Here's a trick for you Aresti owners: Mount a Hobbico Volt-Watch INSIDE the fuse in the plywood opening just above the wing - tape it in place with box tape on the Ultracote. It will show through the white Ultracote. Cool!
BTW: I think the recommended low-rate and high-rate elevator throw isn't quite enough. My first mistake with this plane was taking off with low rates - almost didn't have enough elevator to lift off over the weeds. It shows no tendancy to snap at high speeds with full up elevator.
The OS 46-FX is enough engine for this plane - it's really quiet.
