i have had clean sort of yellow on me in time and also not stick as well as the actually color itself. this also helped the strips tie end better on the stabs and ailerons[8D] must be a Lee R. thing see what you think of how the strips tie in with and with out the coloring

Yeah it does look good and can see it's worth the time spent. Good job!
I flew Lee Hype Sunday. The last time I was at the feild was the frist week of last December!!! It was great just to hang with the guys, but flying the Hype put a big old smile on my ! I don't know if I was flipping the Hype around to much, but after I landed the plane we saw that only one ca hinge was left holding the rudder on. Told him it was time for some Radio South hinges.

Krayzc, apparently all is going well and at a quick pace. The detailed assembly reports and the pics are great. Much appreciated, Joe

the ailerons are hooked up with the short jr servo arms i am able to get the 16/23 on the ailerons. with the short arms on the elevators i am able to get 12/40 on 45 degrees on the elevators. that should let me do some 3d her and there but not much as i will use my fun flies for that more than this bird...
the pull pull is finished and i am able to get great throw using the standard blue arm on a hitec 5735 the manual calls for 25/45 degrees

Ok boyz i am by myself and need to trial fit for balance so that i can mount the battery and rudder servo and WH is calling for the use of the wing tips this primative style is what i came up with This is with the 5735 at the front part of the canopy along with a 2700 nmhi.

moving the battery and servo to the rear of the canopy achieve these results. NOte the rudder cables are still not installed, and the canopy has not been glue, screwed or however i will put it on..

I always balance mine upside down but i needed to know 1st were the CG was located now that i know were the CG is by the closer portion of the wing i will use the GP balance machine and see how that turns out. i forgot that i wanted to add a pilot so i may have a bogues CG as i just mounted the rudder servo we'll see. i taped on a string on both wings to see were the CG was located for tank and balance purpose...also my things are just sitting in the plane so it would have been hard to keep them in place inverted....

at the field but not for long I got N about a 3 minute flight. I needed 4 clicks of left ailerons on trim step 1 (jr 8103) 3 clicks of up elevator. My motor needed an adjustment on the low end this in turn made the motor idle higher than I could adjust from the transmitter, I did not have a short Allen wrench to adjust this afterwards so I headed on back home. I am going to need a -3 or so to start on my rudder to elevator mix, and about a 5 and -5 to start on the rudder to ailerons mix. I did not have any mixes on for the 1st flight. The plane will fly for 5 seconds or so with out elevator inverted then it needed a slight push. It lands very well and I was flying with a cross wind and it comes right on home like it should. That is about all I know at this time I didn't even do an ailerons roll so I am not sure how the rates on that deal. well I am off to school talk at you all later.....
