two different ainimals all togather. Patty wagstaff hands down. There is no comparison to a 1/4 scale airplane vs a .40 size plane. JUst read the threads on the patty. When you read about people having thier second and third of the same plane it tells you something... It was good enough to buy it again and again. I love mine and when it is gone. I will replace it with the same plane. I hope they never discontinue this plane , but if they do I will buy one as a spare.

Depends on how you like to fly , I don't have a Patty but I have lots of 1/4 scale planes and none of them fly anything like an S.E of which I have had 4 and will always have at least one. There is just no way to compare the S.E to any 1/4 scale plane so it's best to just get both of them and have twice as much fun.

Yeah, that's apples to oranges. Both are excellent planes for their own categories.
