My winter project is my Vector Flight 66" Edge 540. I have a lot of time to build it, so its gonna be looking pretty. Carbon fiber main gear, sullivan tail wheel + flying wires, Sig wheel pants.

My ARF projects are
1 Northeast Sailplanes Mamba with a brushless motor and 3s 2100 lipos
2 Rebuild fuse of Suitcase's US 120 Lite because I crashed it.
After that I am going to change my basement shop around and build some base and wall cabinets and a new workbench.
1 Repower my Goldberg Extra with a YS 120 ,fix the cowl and repaint it.
2 Great Plains Super Skybolt. Here is a picture of what I want it to look like. I saw this Skybolt at the EAA fly in at Petersberg,Va a few years ago

Sky Raider Mach II. Remove covering, build up a turtle deck and put on a real canopy, look at possibility of retracts, and/or dual aileron servos. Maybe wheel pants and stronger gear if retracts won't work. And recover.
Build a HOB .20 size P-51.

1) Re-cover a nice used Super Sportster Bipe that I picked up and have been flying. Still trying to decide on scheme and covering type (I like the ease of use of Solartex and paint).
2) During the re-cover/build of the Bipe try installing a Saito 65 in it, my first exerience with a four-stroke, to get some practice in for my next full-build, a Flair Puppeteer, for the summer.
3) Fix the damage I did to my Hawker Tempest

Well I plan on several projects, finish recovering my Super Star using vinyl and cutting out a costum design with the new vinyl cutter. Next is relocating the tank on my Cloud Dancer as I think its sitting tooooo high and flooding the engine. Repair my Zero and then my 4* 40 needs to be recovered and graphics added. Most of all I really want to reorganize my shop and add a few more lights and power strips so I can set up my saw and press.

The Tempest is a Ron Daniels kit. It is a great flyer and pretty easy build (my first build).
His website is here:

Check him out. The kit is excellent quality.

These were both supposed to be my winter projects. Problem is I bought them to early, and I can't just leave unfinished Planes laying around. One is the Great Planes Extra 300s .40 Kit, and the other is the VectorFlight Edge 540 ARF "66". The Edge is finished except for the new Saito 1.00 needs broke in, and the Great Planes Extra is completed except for engine and radio installation. I still have an unfinished 1/4 scale sig clipped wing cub in the garage that is going on its second year on the bench. I guess that will have to be my winter project.

My winter project is going to build a really nice funtana 40 with a JR 6102 TX with 537's all around. It will have all the cool stuff like saito 72 and a fuel valve. It will also have all the cool JR and i don't know what else stickers. I know its not to complex of a project but i'll be proud of it when i get to fly it.

Hey JMPS,
Let me know when you built that edge with the magnum engine. I am thinking about a very similar setup (I just purchased the plane today) but I am leaning more towards a 1.20 Magnum, if that is too much weight I will consider the .91
Peace

I plan to do some maintenance on my GP Spacewalker, new landing gear covers, new windscreen and maybe a new cowl from Stan's and then I will put together a Hanger 9 Clipped Wing Taylor craft. I haven't decided on an engine yet, but I'm leaning towards my first gasser, a Zenoa G26

got three in the works:
1) Last winters project that never got finished; 4*40
2) Ultra RC YAK 54 arf (does this really qualify as a project
)
3) P51 Mustang arf no name brand
Looking into GP Ultimate kit. Anyone have any other good suggestions for a bipe kit? Does DPM make his Ultimate in kit or is it ARF only?
